Speech: Donald Trump Holds a Midterm Political Rally in Northern Kentucky - October 17, 2026

12:00 PM
Donald Trump 00:00:00-00:00:42 (42 sec)

[Audience chants "USA"] Well, a very special hello to Kentucky. I love Kentucky. So I'm thrilled to be back in this beautiful commonwealth, which, by the way, I don't wanna brag, I won all three times receiving more votes than any candidate in the history of Kentucky, whether it presidential or not. We got more votes three times and the last time was the most. And by the way, we did extremely well the second time, as we did throughout the rest of the country [Laughs] in case you had any, just in case you had any questions.

Donald Trump 00:00:42-00:01:10 (28 sec)

I won 118 -- I didn't win, we won -- 118 out of 120 counties. That's not bad. Ed, is that bad? That's not bad. And I took Ed Gallrein along with me. He's so great, this guy. Central casting. I looked at him, walked through the door of the Oval Office. I said, "That guy is central casting." He's a Navy SEAL straight up and down.

Donald Trump 00:01:10-00:01:41 (31 sec)

He walked through. I said, "That guy can do the job." And he won by about 19 points, that's pretty good. I'm very proud of you, Ed. I see him here. Seventeen days from now, the people of Kentucky are going to defeat the radical left Democrat, Charles Booker -- he's a Democrat -- and elect a friend of mine for a long time. You know, I backed him from day one when he was running for Congress against a very tough opponent, I think the name was Amy McGrath.

Donald Trump 00:01:41-00:02:06 (24 sec)

Is that good? See? Do I have a good memory? There's no weakness of memory in this guy. Amy McGrath. I actually beat her twice in another race. I also beat her in another race. But Andy Barr was just, uh, he was an amazing candidate. He's been an amazing congressman. He'll be one of the great U.S. senators.

Donald Trump 00:02:06-00:02:23 (18 sec)

There'll be, there'll be, I mean, he's just fantastic. And that's why I'm here, that's why I'm here. That's why I'm here. But Andy, good luck with everything. I know all you'd have to do if the people turn out just a little bit, you're gonna walk away. But you're gonna have one of the best senators in Washington.

Donald Trump 00:02:23-00:02:50 (27 sec)

You're gonna have a fantastic guy. I'd say he'll be the absolute best, but that'll cause me a lot of problems [Inaudible] right? Also, here in Kentucky's 4th District, we're going to send Ed Gallrein to the U.S. House of Representatives and he's gonna be, he's gonna be a perfect man. No, I needed somebody good and this guy walks through the door.

Donald Trump 00:02:50-00:02:52 (2 sec)

I said, "Look at this beautiful guy."

Note 00:02:52-00:02:52 ( sec)

[A protester interrupts the speech]

Donald Trump 00:02:52-00:02:59 (7 sec)

He shook my hands. He is, he is -- [Audience chants "USA"]

Donald Trump 00:02:59-00:04:01 (61 sec)

Take him back home to Mom. Gonna be back home to Mom. So they're paid protesters. They get paid to do that. They pay 'em $250. They get paid. We have them all over the place. They stand up, they say something, get $250. It's disgraceful. But then they have to suffer, because they go to back home and the mother, especially if she's a Kentucky mother, she slaps the hell out of 'em, says, slaps the hell and says, "I voted for that man. Don't you ever do that again." "But Mom, I made $250. They may put me in jail." How about that? $250 and your life is ruined, right?

Donald Trump 00:04:01-00:04:31 (30 sec)

How stupid, how stupid are they? But I just, uh, it's just an honor to be here. You know, the worst thing about a thing, that's one young kid. He's a young kid. I don't think we should, we shouldn't ruin his life and press charges, right? Just let him go. Oh, no. Let's think about it. But, but it's so sad, you know, when you see it, because the fake news, see all, look at all the fake news back there.

Donald Trump 00:04:31-00:05:09 (38 sec)

So now what they'll do, is they'll say, "Massive protest against President Trump in the big Kentucky rally." Massive protests, that's what they do. And just across the river in Ohio, we're going to elect Jon Husted to the Senate. You know, Andy, I didn't know about Jon Husted. He's a great guy, respected, he's been a lieutenant, uh, governor for long time in Ohio, respected by everybody, but he's a humble guy.

Donald Trump 00:05:09-00:05:37 (27 sec)

And I had no idea about him because I've always liked him, but he was very, uh, quiet and respectful and very, like a perfect person, good-looking guy, but he was low-key. And I was with him three, four days ago, and Jon Gruden came in, who was a, you know, a Gruden, who's a great guy. Jon Gruden, who I knew through football, a, a fantastic coach.

Donald Trump 00:05:37-00:06:03 (26 sec)

And I was like, "Jon, why are you here?" "I'm here for my teammate." "Oh, who's your teammate?" "Jon Husted." He says, "Jon Hu- -- " I said, "He played football?" "Played football. He was great. We won the championship. He was one of the best players, he was the best player on the team." And he said, "He has a record, he was a safety, has a record, he intercepted 17 times." I said, "Seventeen times?

Donald Trump 00:06:03-00:06:34 (31 sec)

Wait a minute. Is this that nice guy that I see around all the time? Like, he's just a really respected but very humble guy. "Yeah, he was an absolutely unbelievable football player. He'd take people's heads off when he tackled. In fact, oftentimes we had to slow him down. He was -- " I said, "You gotta be kidding." "He was an All-American." "He was an All-American?" So I said, "You can't, I'm gonna, I'm gonna talk about it." So I got up and I told him.

Donald Trump 00:06:34-00:06:57 (24 sec)

I said, "Jon Gruden came in and said he was here for this guy, and he doesn't brag about it." See, I would've bragged. I would've said, "I was an All-American football player. I have the all-time NCA record for interception 17. I played safety. I took people's heads off. They couldn't hold me back. I was the best player on a championship team.

Donald Trump 00:06:57-00:07:24 (26 sec)

I was better than Gruden. And I would've, everybody would've known about it. They probably would've hated me though. But no, but this is his career. He was like a great, so the crowd, some of the Ohio people knew, but a lot of them didn't. And I explained it. And then, you know, the way I have people come up, he's gonna come up, they're all gonna come up, but they come up and I'll stand aside.

Donald Trump 00:07:24-00:07:47 (24 sec)

And I said, "Please make it quick." Because a lot of times the audience doesn't wanna hear from certain people. Look at the crowds we have. And he came up and he was talking very nicely. I stood right over here and I examined his ass. I never did that with, no, I never did that with a man before. I examined his ass and then I looked at his shoulders.

Donald Trump 00:07:47-00:08:08 (21 sec)

I looked at his feet. I looked at his hand. I looked at his jawline. Studying. He's got a jawline, this is like you would be very unfortunate if you picked a fight with him at a bar someday. You wanna -- "Give me that seat?" "No, I'm not gonna give you the seat." But, uh, I then patted him on the shoulder and it was like a piece of steel.

Donald Trump 00:08:08-00:08:37 (29 sec)

I sort of, I'm still recovering my head. I was like, and I explained it to the crowd. I said, "This is unbelievable." And you know, he's picked up like nine or 10 points since I talked about that. And he's got a really good chance of beating a very bad candidate, a, a failed senator, I guess Sherrod Brown, right?

Donald Trump 00:08:37-00:09:01 (24 sec)

A very bad, very bad, they say a bad, he was, he's been in, in for years and they threw him out. We had Bernie Moreno do a good job, but they threw him out. But Jon Husted should do well. He should do well and we'll see what happens. But you know, you never know in politics. What do you know in politics? I've been one of the best races ever run, they say it was my second race and we won.

Donald Trump 00:09:01-00:09:34 (33 sec)

But we had to do it, we had to do it again. I had the ultimate poll. The ultimate poll is we won in a landslide, so we figured, all right, I'll do it again. And we did, and actually this is much bigger than had we done it the normal way. See, we have a man here. These are Front Row Joes. They've gone to, I think 712, I think 700 and, you know, I've done over 1,000. Can you believe it? Over 1,000 rallies. But they've been at 712 and those beautiful women over there.

Donald Trump 00:09:34-00:09:54 (20 sec)

Where are you? From North Carolina. We're, we accept North Carolina, right? We love them. And they're at 311 rallies and they're beautiful and their husbands, I don't know where the hell your husbands are, I, I rarely see the husbands. Are you guys husbands, man? You know, they're not, they're not husbands.

Donald Trump 00:09:54-00:10:15 (21 sec)

Your husbands aren't gonna be ha- -- who, raise your hands if you're a husband over there, please. Oh, good. Okay. Yeah, you're well represented, good. 'Cause you have great wives. I think it's good that you travel together. But they've been to hundreds, right, hundreds of rallies and they're beautiful women, great women. They're, uh, you know, I just like people.

Donald Trump 00:10:15-00:10:43 (28 sec)

I like people that like me, you know? I just like it, I can't help. It's a character flaw. I mean, I've had a couple of people, really horrible human beings, horrible, horrible, terrible people, but I heard through the grapevine they really liked me a lot. So I like them too. But in this election, I'm asking you to pretend that I'm on the ballot because when I'm on the ballot, the stats are easy.

Donald Trump 00:10:43-00:11:14 (30 sec)

When I'm on the ballot, we always won. We always won. We picked up tremendous numbers of seats. We get 49% more vote, whatever that means, 49%. So I'm not on the ballot, but I am on the ballot. But actually I am for a different reason because if we don't win, this is the most important midterm in the history of our country because we've gotten more things done and they can undo them if we start losing an election, especially this one.

Donald Trump 00:11:14-00:11:34 (21 sec)

So pretend I'm on the ballot. Go out and vote. You gotta do it. Raise your right hand. Will everybody vote? Yes, right? I won't say swear to God because maybe, because you, this is a very li- -- you know, I, I heard the pastor give a very beautiful, uh, prayer and I could, and this place was dead silent. You could hear a pin drop.

Donald Trump 00:11:34-00:11:54 (20 sec)

So I will not go that far because in case you had some massive emergency, like you had a heart attack or something like that, but, uh, I hope you can go and vote. And we have to vote for two great congressmen who are running, two great, you've Ed and you have two, where is our other congressman that's running?

Donald Trump 00:11:54-00:12:15 (20 sec)

Where are you? That's, and he's a nice-looking man. And I'm hearing, you are fantastic. I heard all about it on the way up. We gotta make sure you get in. You know, we gotta make sure. So we're gonna have you up here in a minute, okay? You're gonna come up here in a minute. So we gotta get out and vote. And if we do, we're gonna win in a landslide.

Donald Trump 00:12:15-00:12:38 (23 sec)

And what has happened is I've gone around and done the, done the rallies. And you know, there must be something when they're at 317 and these guys are like over 700, I don't know. And they were all successful, guys. And then we have Mr. Wall. Does anybody know? And I say, someday I'm gonna get that suit. I'm gonna wear it up here because I am the king of the wall.

Donald Trump 00:12:38-00:13:25 (47 sec)

I built 2,000 miles, I built 2,000 miles of wall. I built 2,000 miles. Remember when I first said we will build a wall? And, and by the way, by the way, Mexico did pay for that wall, just so you understand, because I charged them tariffs and I charged them costs like they have never paid ever in history. And Mexico has paid for that wall many, many times over, believe me. They, remember I said, if they don't pay, we're just gonna make it taller. I, I thought that was, what happens if they don't build it? What happens if they don't participate?

Donald Trump 00:13:25-00:13:50 (26 sec)

We're gonna make it 10 feet taller. Remember? We had more great lines of stuff here, Ed. This was before, this was when Ed was in the military defending us, wherever you may have been, right? Navy SEAL. But, uh, no, Mexico's paid for that wall many, because I keep hearing, "Okay, he built the wall, but Mexico didn't pay." Mexico did pay. They pay massive tariffs, far greater than the cost of the wall and I like it that way.

Donald Trump 00:13:50-00:14:14 (24 sec)

So let's get that straight 'cause the fake news loves to say, "Oh, he built the wall. He built the wall, but Mexico -- " Mexico paid. All you have to do is call up the president of Mexico. Did, I even, look, I mean, not only did they pay, I even call the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America, okay? That's a form.

Donald Trump 00:14:14-00:14:52 (38 sec)

That's a form of paying. Now, you know, it's interesting though, but for years I've looked and we have 92, 93% of the frontage and they have about seven, seven and a half percent, to be exact, 7.4. And I said, "You know, why is it called the Gulf of Mexico? We have much more frontage. It should be called the Gulf of America." And see, I don't think I could have done this in my first term. This is a much more powerful term.

Donald Trump 00:14:52-00:15:26 (34 sec)

I can do stuff that's unbelievable. I don't think I could do it. So I put it in. I called Google, Google Maps. See, Google wouldn't have taken my call in the first. Now, they kiss my ass, you know? Well, I also changed the name of a lake in Canada to the Lake America, right? Lake America. Anyway. No, Canada's taken advantage of us for 50 years and I love the, I love the people of Canada, but the politicians are terrible.

Donald Trump 00:15:26-00:15:46 (20 sec)

And, you know, we lose $90 billion a year, and I don't like losing money on anything. So, uh, we're making, at some point, we're making a deal that's gonna be amazing. But for years, we've lost billions and billions of dollars, and they just felt so emboldened. You know, we had Trudeau who's, uh, not a good, not a good guy, loser.

Donald Trump 00:15:46-00:16:29 (43 sec)

I mean, you know, I don't, loser [Inaudible]. And your current guy's good, but he's a nice guy, but he's not nice when it comes to trade. And they're learning and they're suffering. They do 95% of their business with us. We do very little with them by comparison. And they, you know, I just don't wanna lose, I mean, if it's okay with you, if it's okay with you, I do not wanna lose, as your representative, $90 billion for the privilege of allowing Canada to have a health care system and other things that they shouldn't be having. They spend money, they spend our money very unwisely.

Donald Trump 00:16:29-00:16:50 (22 sec)

But the last time the radical Democrats had power, they gave us the worst inflation in American history, the highest energy prices in American history, the worst trade deficit in American history. They allowed 25 million people to pour across our borders from all over the world. They came. It was an invasion.

Donald Trump 00:16:50-00:17:19 (29 sec)

It was like a military invasion. And if they win in the midterms, they will do it again. They're gonna open your borders, and we're still getting rid of the worst of the worst. We got most of them out of here. We got most of them out of here. But the proud people of Kentucky will never let that happen. You were suffering with us. We were winning all those elections together, but every time I came up, you were about as angry as any state.

Donald Trump 00:17:19-00:17:42 (23 sec)

It was just terrible. Who would want that? I mean, they had an open border, no check, no balance, totally unvetted, no, like, "Where do you come from?" They came from the Congo. They emptied their jails from the Congo. They came from all over South America. They emptied their jails. They were drug dealers.

Donald Trump 00:17:42-00:18:02 (20 sec)

They came from mental institutions. And they had 11,888 murderers, most of whom committed more than one murder. Why would we accept these people into our country? Do you think they're going to reform? Does anyone think those murderers would be very nice people, nice, gentle people as your next-door neighbor?

Donald Trump 00:18:02-00:18:28 (26 sec)

No, they'll kill you. You know an amazing one is that North Carolina, they have a governor named Cooper. By the way, Andy, you're so high up, you don't mind if I talk about other people. Andy is doing so well, I don't, I think we can talk about other people. We gotta get you two con- -- congressmen. But we have a fantastic guy, Michael Whatley, who's the head of the Republican Party, right?

Donald Trump 00:18:28-00:18:51 (23 sec)

Right? They know. He's fantastic. So anyway, this governor is a radical left governor who tries to pretend he's, his name is Cooper. And, uh, everyone thinks he's like this modern guy. He's not. He's radical left. He's a lunatic. And you remember the late Willie Horton, Gov. Dukakis running for president.

Donald Trump 00:18:51-00:19:14 (22 sec)

He had a 15-point lead. He allowed a man named Willie Horton out of prison during the race, and Willie Horton went on to kill three women, rape and kill three women in very rapid succession. And he had a lead of 15 that turned into a minus 10 within about two days. And he was out of the race and he lost the race terribly.

Donald Trump 00:19:14-00:19:45 (31 sec)

He lost it badly. And then I see Cooper. And so here's the story. He let out, right, 88 murderers. You know why he let them out? It was COVID and he didn't want them to catch COVID. And many of them were on death- -- essentially death row, but they were on very extreme lockup. They were murderers. So he let out 88 murderers because he didn't want them to be sub- -- subject to COVID.

Donald Trump 00:19:45-00:20:09 (25 sec)

And by the way, these guys weren't gonna be hurt. They s- -- they were strong. They were not gonna be hurt. [Laughs] They were not 84 years old and seriously obese, like some of my friends that kicked the bucket. I had a friend of mine, a genius, a great real estate man. He was 82, severely obese, totally a great man, great man, great real estate guy.

Donald Trump 00:20:09-00:20:28 (19 sec)

And he called me, he says, "Don," and it was just, he always used to call me Donny in the real estate. Once I became president, he called me president, which is nice, you know? I didn't tell him to change. But he was, he was one of the wealthiest, he was one of the wealthiest men in New York, who, a very tremendous guy.

Donald Trump 00:20:28-00:20:50 (22 sec)

But he was heavy. He was old. He suffered from the three worst things. Rich, he was rich, heavy, and old. That is a perfect COVID victim. And he died of COVID. He said, "I'm going to the hospital, uh, President. I'm gonna go there, I have COVID. I'll be out in a couple of days. I'll give you a call." I called up the next day.

Donald Trump 00:20:50-00:21:13 (24 sec)

I said, "How is so-and-so doing?" They said, "Sir, he's in a coma." I said, "He's in a coma?" The following day, and then he died a couple of days later. It was unbelievable. These guys were not gonna die. And if they did, I guess that would've been okay. They were murderers. Eighty-eight, is that right, ladies? Eighty-eight. Okay.

Donald Trump 00:21:13-00:21:42 (28 sec)

So Gov. Cooper, this is worse than Willie Horton and Dukakis. So Gov. Cooper released the 88 people, released them because he didn't want them to catch COVID. And the murders, they murdered, of the 88, 25 of them murdered someone almost immediately. And people don't wanna tell the story. They don't wanna tell the story.

Donald Trump 00:21:42-00:22:01 (19 sec)

The fake news doesn't wanna tell the story. That's much worse than Willie Horton. Eighty-eight people came out, 25. And that was as of a month or two ago. I'm sure there's a couple of other murders that they did. So, uh, and these people are from North Carolina. Am I, is that a correct story? And, and nobody talks about the story.

Donald Trump 00:22:01-00:22:23 (22 sec)

If that were a Republican, that story would be known all over the world. So you shouldn't, you shouldn't vote for Roy Cooper, you should vote for Michael Whatley. And Michael was in, you know, Michael was the head of the Republican Party in North Carolina during my time, but during the second run. And I won North Carolina.

Donald Trump 00:22:23-00:22:45 (22 sec)

Other states allowed cheating. You go up and down and he held it tight, tight, tight. I said, "You know, if I ever do this again, I'm gonna take that guy from Nor-" I hardly know him, but he was so good. He hired 613 lawyers. He had lawyers at every voting booth in the state, and there was no cheating. In other states, there was tremendous.

Donald Trump 00:22:45-00:23:08 (23 sec)

Georgia, Pennsylvania, there was tremendous. I had it won. Everybody went to bed that night saying, "Oh, great. Our president has been -- " And then they woke up in the morning. It all started happening at around 3:07. Oh, we just found a box of ballots, many boxes of ballots actually. And hundreds of boxes of ballots just happened to be found.

Donald Trump 00:23:08-00:23:34 (26 sec)

And so people went to bed happy and they woke up, turned on the news, and they saw the election was rigged. But I said, "But in, in North Carolina, we won because of him." And I said, "You know if I ever do this again, I'm gonna take that guy from North Carolina and I'm gonna put him in charge of the Republican Party." And I did with my daughter-in-law, Lara. Lara is, Lara is great.

Donald Trump 00:23:34-00:23:53 (19 sec)

And they were co-equals. And I'm telling you, they were incredible, right? They were incredible. Now Michael Whatley is running and I, we gotta get him in because he will be fantastic. He's a fantastic man. He's a little bit like Jon Husted. You know, he's understated, but a killer. Jon Husted's a killer.

Donald Trump 00:23:53-00:24:16 (24 sec)

Can you imagine? He takes people heads off. I thought he was the nicest, meekest person. I would've fought him. No, if I, I would've had a fight with him, Andy. And it would not have been a good situation for me, right? But Whatley is sort of the same thing, but not in a physical sense. He's a mental killer and he's, uh, a great guy and I hope he does well.

Donald Trump 00:24:16-00:24:45 (29 sec)

I hope you're out there working for him because he deserves to win. So less than two years ago, the radical left Democrats, and it's a new term I use over the last few, I can't believe it took me nine years to come up with it. I take the E out and I replace it with a U for dumb. And most people don't know it has a B. I, I don't even need to say that because the media always changes that one around, so I won't say it too much.

Donald Trump 00:24:45-00:25:08 (23 sec)

But most people don't know dumb. Most people think dumb is spelled D-U-M, it's D-U-M-B. But I take out the E, Democrat, I take out the E, replace it with a simple U. And they're Dumocrats because they have the worst policy of any human beings that have, that have ever lived, men and women's sports. The transgender mutilization of your children.

Donald Trump 00:25:08-00:25:40 (31 sec)

How about the transgender mutilization? How about open borders? How about open borders? So Sleepy Joe Biden and his whole group of crooks handed us the dark age of America. It was the dark age and they weaponized our government. You know, it's crazy. If somebody's under investigation from the admi- -- Donald Trump is weaponizing. They indicted me. They went after me like nobody's ever gone after.

Donald Trump 00:25:40-00:26:01 (21 sec)

They went after our people, probably people in this audience. Uh, something came out. If you had a hat, if you bought a Make America Great Again, you were under investigation by deranged Jack Smith. Did you see that yesterday it came out? They were after anybody that bought a Make America Great. And then they say, I've weaponized.

Donald Trump 00:26:01-00:26:31 (30 sec)

I'm a baby by comparison. These people were sick. But they gave us the dark age of America and we quickly turned it and I had no idea we could do it this quickly. We turned it into the golden age of America. We're in the golden age of America. So our nation is doing better now than ever before, but the fake news refuses to talk about it very much and we're setting records and numbers that nobody ever thought could happen.

Donald Trump 00:26:31-00:26:53 (22 sec)

And so because of the fact that they, the fake news and they're back there, those cameras are rolling, although the red light always goes off whenever I mention the fake news because they're afraid I'm gonna tell them how crooked they are, how dishonest they are. So I'm gonna go and do it myself because the fake news won't, so I do it myself and we get the word out.

Donald Trump 00:26:53-00:27:21 (28 sec)

It was just announced that under Republican leadership, incomes for hardworking Americans have soared to the highest level ever recorded. Thank you. Number two, these are stats that are, number one, they're irrefutable, but they're just so potent, it's so ridiculous that I shouldn't even have to s- --

Note 00:27:21-00:27:22 ( sec)

[Another person interrupts the speech]

Donald Trump 00:27:22-00:27:26 (4 sec)

I shouldn't be forced to stand up here much longer. Was he a friend or a foe?

Unidentified 00:27:26-00:27:26 ( sec)

A friend.

Unidentified 00:27:26-00:27:28 (2 sec)

Friend.

Donald Trump 00:27:28-00:27:32 (4 sec)

Oh, I think he's, I think he's a friend. Are you friend or foe?

Unidentified 00:27:32-00:27:32 ( sec)

Friend.

Donald Trump 00:27:32-00:27:59 (26 sec)

'Cause being foe in this arena can be a very dangerous thing. So these are stats that are so good that I shouldn't have to be forced to stand up here and talk for these guys all day long. But it is a nice afternoon. It is Saturday, I do believe. Gotta get that right. Remember, remember Biden? It's great to be in Florida. And he was in Maine.

Donald Trump 00:27:59-00:28:52 (53 sec)

It's great to, he's got palm trees. Remember, it's the palm trees all over the place. He's in Maine. It's great to be in Florida. But we don't have that anymore. We have somebody that happens to be respected. President Xi was here last week and they respect our country now. Okay, number two, more Americans are working today than at any time in the history of our country. And, and just so you know, that's, and I shouldn't say this because, but that's despite the fact that we let go of as gently as we could over one million federal employees because, and they hate me, but now they like me. You know why?

Donald Trump 00:28:52-00:29:14 (21 sec)

They've all gone out and gotten private sector jobs for much more money and they like the job. We had 10 people doing one job. We had, we had situations where there was a one job and we had 10 people hanging around doing one job. So I let over a million people. So how about, how about our numbers? I could make, you know what the Democrats do to make their numbers look good, they hire.

Donald Trump 00:29:14-00:29:43 (29 sec)

I could do that tomorrow. I could say right now, Jim, right there, I could say, "Jim, hire one and a half million people for the federal government." "Yes, sir." We have employment numbers that are the greatest in history, but that's not making America great again. What's making America great again is the private sector and we need absolutely federal people, but we don't need 10 for every job. So I let over a million go, and these numbers are phenomenal despite that.

Donald Trump 00:29:43-00:30:06 (23 sec)

But many of these people have gone out, they've gotten private sector jobs, a job they like much more, their wife likes them much more, or their husband, they like them much more. They get much more turned on by the fact that their husband's got a better job than he used to have. They became, they become almost violent in their love for their husband. [Laughs] And, and they make more money.

Donald Trump 00:30:06-00:30:29 (23 sec)

So number two, the poverty rate has just reached its highest, best number. It's the best number that we've ever had. So you would call it the lowest level in American history. So think of that. We have more people working than ever before. The people in this room are making more money than they've ever made before.

Donald Trump 00:30:29-00:30:55 (26 sec)

And poor people are losing less. They're in better shape. Poor people, they're, so with those three stats, with that Kentucky, I would like to say farewell and I hope you have a wonderful Saturday afternoon. I'm leaving. Goodbye, everybody. No, because what do I have to, Ed, what do I have to, why should I talk?

Donald Trump 00:30:55-00:31:18 (23 sec)

Think of it. We have more people working and we've gotten rid of a lot of government workers, but they're all working. Better jobs. So they have more people working than ever before. The average income is the highest it's ever been and the poverty number is the best it's ever been. So I can stand up here and bullshit for two hours.

Donald Trump 00:31:18-00:31:40 (22 sec)

So sometimes I really think, Ed, when I have these numbers, I, I say, "You know, let's just get the hell out of here. I'm not gonna top it because how can you do better than that?" African American poverty, Hispanic American poverty, and Native American poverty rates are at their all-time best. The all-time lowest levels ever recorded.

Donald Trump 00:31:40-00:32:11 (30 sec)

The stock market has hit. You know, when I did the little excursion to the Islamic, the beautiful Islamic Republic of Iran, we beat the shit out of them. But when I did that excursion, we knocked out their nuclear capacity. Somebody said, "Oh, well, was it worth it?" I said, "They cannot have a nuclear weapon. They can't because they'll use it." So anyway, but when I did that excursion, we were rocking.

Donald Trump 00:32:11-00:32:29 (18 sec)

We were rocking and rolling. I told my guys, Scott, Howard, and Jamieson, all of them, Marco, JD, I said, "We have to go to the Middle East for a period of time. We've got to knock out the weapons. We could be there a little bit longer because -- " But I, I did actually. I said, "We're gonna knock out," and I did that within the period of time.

Donald Trump 00:32:29-00:32:54 (25 sec)

I said, "We have to make sure it doesn't come back." That's what we're doing. It's not gonna, it's gonna end very quickly. And when it ends, by the way, when it ends, uh, your gas prices are going down to lower than what they were before. But the stock market has hit in a little more than a year and a half, has hit 88 all-time highs since the election.

Donald Trump 00:32:54-00:33:17 (23 sec)

Think of that, 88. And what does that mean? That means your 401(k)s are at the highest level. One of the people, I met one of the people yesterday. We, I'm all over the place, I go all over the place. People say, "How the hell does he do it?" Honestly, I have no idea. But I meet, I meet people all over the place.

Donald Trump 00:33:17-00:33:39 (22 sec)

And this one man said to me yesterday, he said, "You know, I looked at, I, I hadn't looked at it in a long time. I looked at my 401(k). I'm up 61% in the last year. 61%. And my wife loves me. She thinks I'm a great investor. She never thought I was a good -- " She'd always say, "You don't know anything about money." Now I said, "I just hit 61. And sir, I didn't do anything.

Donald Trump 00:33:39-00:34:03 (24 sec)

I just don't -- No, your 401(k)s are at the highest point they've ever been. You're all, does anybody have 401(k)s? Yeah, everybody. You know, when the Democrats, the Democrats, they go like, "401(k)s? Well, the stock market doesn't mean it." Well, the stock market basically is your 401(k)s. The stock market means a lot. You know, they say, "He always uses the stock market." Well, actually I do when it's good.

Donald Trump 00:34:03-00:34:26 (23 sec)

If it's bad, I don't use it. Yeah. If it has a bad day, I never talk. We don't have too many bad days, by the way. Exports, this is a great one. Exports. So Barack Hussein Obama, have you, has anyone heard of Barack Hussein, remember Rush Limbaugh? He used to go, "Barack Hussein Obama. Barack Hussein." He'd scream out Hussein.

Donald Trump 00:34:26-00:34:47 (21 sec)

Now, Barack Hussein Obama said we'll never be a manufacturing country again. And despite that, you know, we have factories being built all over, $21 trillion. We have factories being built all over your state, all over the country. Car plants are coming back. Pharmaceutical companies are building $600 billion worth.

Donald Trump 00:34:47-00:35:16 (30 sec)

We're gonna make all our drugs here. But exports have just, just announced they soared to the highest level in American history. That means we make a product and we sell it to other people. That's the old-fashioned way. That's the way. And less than two years ago, and this was told to me by many leaders, the king of Saudi Arabia said it. They said, "A short time ago, we thought your country was dead.

Donald Trump 00:35:16-00:35:37 (21 sec)

It was a dead country. It was laughed at all over the world. You had an incompetent president. How about when they try and say, "He was wonderful"? He wasn't wonderful. He wasn't wonderful. I s- -- I still don't get the debate. I still don't get the debate. Did they put him out there to, to lose? Did they put, what was that all about?

Donald Trump 00:35:37-00:36:09 (32 sec)

I think they wanted to make a change, so they put him into the lion's den. But, uh, I thought he got, personally, I enjoyed the way he debated. But, but think of it. So the leaders of the world said, "Just a short time ago, sir," they talked to me, "Mr. President, we thought your country was dead. And today, you have the hottest country anywhere in the world." We're the hottest country in the world.

Donald Trump 00:36:09-00:36:37 (28 sec)

In four long years of crooked Joe Biden and the Biden administration, they got less than $1 trillion of new investment in the United States. That's in four years. In a little more than one year since I took office, we have secured commitments and money pouring in of more than $21 trillion, think of it. There's never been a time, there's never been a time like that.

Donald Trump 00:36:37-00:37:00 (23 sec)

I told yesterday, I said, uh, that one of the rallies, all of the rallies are so hot. The rallies have changed the whole thing, you know? These poor people, they're, they're going like, "Something strange is happening here," because, you know, two weeks ago they had a lot, then I started the rallies and all of a sudden the Republican Party is starting to look very good.

Donald Trump 00:37:00-00:37:24 (24 sec)

Starting to look very good. We're winning, you know, in Texas, polls just came out this morning where our candidate, Ken Paxton, is leading now in Texas. He's a good man. He's the greatest attorney general in the history of Texas, one of the greatest in the history of our country. Why shouldn't he be the guy?

Donald Trump 00:37:24-00:37:45 (21 sec)

That's the guy you want, but he's the greatest in the history of Texas. Why shouldn't he win? The other guy's a freak. Talofrico. They call him Talofrico. Can you imagine? He's a vegetarian. My wife corrected me. I was calling it vegan. I know nothing about that. I, I don't have, I don't like eating a piece of celery for dinner.

Donald Trump 00:37:45-00:38:12 (27 sec)

I don't like, I'll have a piece of lettuce. Do you ever go out with a, my wife said to me, our great first lady, she said, "Darling, it's not vegan. It's vegan." And then she said, "Please don't dance. You're the president of the United States. Please don't dance." "Sir," she goes, she goes, "Please don't dance.

Donald Trump 00:38:12-00:38:41 (29 sec)

Look, she said to me, "Let me explain something to you. You are the president of the United States. You don't dance off the stage. You don't dance off." And I said, "Darling, I just won the election in a landslide. I won every single swing state. 87% of the counties in the country, won the popular vote, won everything.

Donald Trump 00:38:41-00:39:18 (37 sec)

Darling, they like it. Well, you know what else she hates? She hates when I do the women, "Oh, oh, I can't do it. I can't do it." The mom and the dad, mom and dad are rooting the wrong and can't do it. Then the guy comes up. He's a failed male weightlifter, a total fail, one of the worst. And he comes up 211 pounds, and one hand.

Donald Trump 00:39:18-00:39:40 (22 sec)

And how ridiculous is the whole thing, right? Can you imagine? I only talk about it, and I think, Andy, this is important to me. I only talk about it about a week or two out, because honestly, I don't want them to change their policy because if they have this policy, unless they cheat even better than they do, because they're pr- -- the thing they do best is cheat, but we'll never lose. They can't lose.

Donald Trump 00:39:40-00:40:08 (28 sec)

I mean, they have men in women's sports. Who ever heard of such a thing? Men in women's sport. They have, they have the transgender mutilization of your child, your children. Timmy goes out, goes to school, comes back four days later, as Sarah. It's true. I think we have six, five or six states where they could actually just do that. And they do it. They're sick people.

Donald Trump 00:40:08-00:40:31 (23 sec)

But, uh, think of that, open borders. To me, open borders is, is so bad for this country. And all of the things I just said, and many more, they're gonna do again if they win. That's why you have to get out and vote. That's why I'm doing this. I don't need to do this. I could sit home. I already won. Somebody said, "Good luck with the election." I said, "No, I already won.

Donald Trump 00:40:31-00:40:49 (18 sec)

I don't need to do this. But I have to because if they win the midterms, all of a sudden you're gonna see a slide and all of the crap that we talk about, the incompetent stuff that we talk about is gonna come back and we're gonna go through the same process. And I don't think our country can handle it again.

Donald Trump 00:40:49-00:40:49 (1 sec)

I really don't. [Audience calls out "No"]

Donald Trump 00:40:49-00:40:58 (9 sec)

So, that's why I'm here working my ass off for you. I didn't have to do it. [Audience chants "USA"]

Donald Trump 00:40:58-00:41:37 (39 sec)

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you very much. So, thanks to my favorite word, which is now my fifth favorite word. You know that story? I used to say tariff is my favorite word and the press went after me. "What about God? What about wife, family, relationship?" So I made tariff number five. And now they leave me alone.

Donald Trump 00:41:37-00:42:07 (30 sec)

But thanks to my fifth favorite word in the dictionary, tariff, Ford is investing all this money. Just so you know, there's no tariff to pay. If they come in and build their plant in Kentucky or any one of our states, there's no tariff. It's very simple. And that's why we have billions and billions of dollars of plant and equipment and factories and everything under construction right now.

Donald Trump 00:42:07-00:42:44 (37 sec)

Nobody's ever seen anything like it. But thanks to tariffs and the right leader, $2 billion in its largest plant, they're building the largest plant in the entire country. The Louisville Assembly Plant is creating more than 4,000 Kentucky jobs, right? And just last month, GE Appliances announced a brand-new $1 billion investment to expand its manufacturing in Kentucky, creating 5,712 jobs.

Donald Trump 00:42:44-00:43:14 (29 sec)

And today, this could be breaking news. It is certainly for your state. I'm pleased to announce that if the Republicans win, the de- -- because the Democrats can't do it. This is simple. If the Republicans win, you better get out and vote. This is the biggest one. This is the one that, oh, I tell you what, Andy Barr is gonna be very happy when hears this.

Donald Trump 00:43:14-00:43:51 (37 sec)

But you have to win, Andy, otherwise forget it. If the Republicans win, the Department of War will be investing $100 million in the pharmaceutical company, Antheia, to revitalize a gigantic drug manufacturing facility in Winchester, Kentucky. That's a big one. That's a big revitalization project. But if the Democrats win, it doesn't, because they wouldn't be able to do it. They, they wouldn't even know what you're talking about.

Donald Trump 00:43:51-00:44:10 (20 sec)

They have no idea. And they're gonna gut the Department of War and we're gonna have not much of -- You know, think of how good are, I rebuilt the military my first term, and then Biden gave a lot of it away to Ukraine. He gave a lot of it, he, they would've paid. All you had to do is ask the European Union for money.

Donald Trump 00:44:10-00:44:33 (22 sec)

They would've paid. So I came in and did that. But, but we have the greatest military anywhere in the world, the greatest. And our country is doing so well under Republican leadership. Here's your other big story in my opinion. I don't know, maybe people don't believe it, but if they, if they don't, they're foolish 'cause I, I do everything I say.

Donald Trump 00:44:33-00:44:54 (22 sec)

You know, they had a newscaster on today. It wasn't necessarily a fan. I guess pretty, pretty normalized. And he said, "You know, promises made, promises kept." That's something that Trump talks about. And he said, "Whether you like it or not, he has actually done far more things than he promised." And he's the only politician I remember.

Donald Trump 00:44:54-00:45:49 (55 sec)

I've done a lot more. I've done things, I never promised like Greenland. I never promised Venezuela. You know how much money we're taking out of Venezuela? Hundreds of billions of dollars were taken out of Venezuela. We're working with the Venez- -- one day, one day. But think of that. But if Republicans win the House of Representatives and the Senate, I'm going to give all adult citizens in the United States of America $5,000 'cause you deserve it. And only Republicans can do that because the Democrats, they can't do it because we're taking in massive amounts of money through tariffs and record-setting economic success. The Democrats won't do that.

Donald Trump 00:45:49-00:46:11 (21 sec)

They can't do it. They don't know how to do it. They can't do it. It's not in their policy. Their policy is to raise your taxes. So the exact opposite will happen, actually. If the Democrats win, you will have, in my opinion, I hope I'm wrong about this, but I hope they don't win, 1929-style economic, you're gonna have a depression. They're incompetent.

Donald Trump 00:46:11-00:46:37 (27 sec)

If the Republicans win, you'll each have $5,000 in your pocket and economic success for our country like we have never seen before. And remember, 'cause they like to say, "Oh, well, maybe he won't do that." Uh, I always do it. And remember about a year ago, I promised the military a bonus, right? Everyone said, "Oh, he won't do that.

Donald Trump 00:46:37-00:47:03 (26 sec)

He can't do that. Really? So I said to the generals, "How much can we afford to give our military members, all members of the military?" And they came back and they said, "$1,775." So I said, "Hmm, that's a strange number. 1775?" And everyone came in and they said, "Sure." These handsome guys like better than any movie. They don't have good-looking guys in the movies.

Donald Trump 00:47:03-00:47:11 (8 sec)

These guys are good look, these three generals were, "Sure, we could do $1,775." [Audience member calls out "Yes sir"]

Donald Trump 00:47:11-00:47:39 (28 sec)

And some [Laughs] Thank you. This is my, this is my sidekick open. So we, we can have $1,775. And it sounded strange to me. And then I realized well, 'cause with $1 more, it's $17.76, right? So I said, "General, can you scrounge together one more dollar for everybody?" "Yes, sir." I said, "You know what that means?" "Yes, sir.

Donald Trump 00:47:39-00:48:07 (28 sec)

It means 1776. I said, "Isn't that a great number?" So the Democrats said, "You'll never be able to do that." I did it immediately. It was paid a year ago. I do what I say. And just as another little backup, the Trump dividend called the $5,000 a Trump dividend is approximately $1 trillion, but we have a record-setting $21 trillion that's pouring into our country right now.

Donald Trump 00:48:07-00:48:30 (23 sec)

And when you start thinking about it, it's not really that much. We have more money coming into our country than at any time for any country. That includes China and everybody else. And many times greater, just not a little bit greater. The only caveat is that the Trump dividend, you have to spend the money in the United States of America.

Donald Trump 00:48:30-00:49:06 (37 sec)

Recirculation. Recirculation. You have to spend it. In other words, you can't get your check. "Darling, darling, I got my check for 5,000." And she says, "So do I, so do I." They both get it. "So do I, darling." "Oh, let's go to Japan and have a wonderful, or let's, let's go to the beautiful country of France and get involved in the revolution. Or let's spend the money in China." No. [Audience responds "No"]

Donald Trump 00:49:06-00:49:44 (38 sec)

I said yes, I thought it was very cute yesterday. I said, "Or what you're gonna do is let's go to Miami Beach and have some fun." And then I said, I thought this was very cute. I said, "Or let's go and join the president for lunch at Mar-a-Lago and we'll buy, and we'll buy at Mar-a-Lago one hamburger and a small dessert. That'll take up about $5,000." [Laughter] But the choice in this election is very simple.

Donald Trump 00:49:44-00:50:08 (24 sec)

You can vote for the radical left Democrat communists to loot your wealth, raise your taxes by $5 trillion. These are the only people I've ever seen that, "We will -- " Do you ever watch them in the campaign? All my life I've watched politicians. All my, I've always found it interesting. It's nice to know you have a president that was at least interested in politics.

Donald Trump 00:50:08-00:50:32 (25 sec)

But all my life I've watched and they would always say, "We will cut your taxes. We will cut your taxes." Democrat, they were, this is the only group of lunatics that says, "We are gonna raise your taxes." They say, "We will raise your taxes." Who the hell's voting for these people? Transgender, open borders, men in women's sports, and we're gonna raise your taxes on top of everything else.

Donald Trump 00:50:32-00:50:55 (23 sec)

I'm telling you, they have the worst policy I've ever, that's why we call them Democrats. But they're gonna annihilate your borders, decimate Kentucky farms and energies, mutilate your children and give 25 million illegal aliens amnesty and the right to vote. They want amnesty for the illegal aliens and they wanna give them right to vote.

Donald Trump 00:50:55-00:51:26 (31 sec)

Or you can defeat the Democrat communists and vote for more money in your pockets, bigger paychecks for your family, much lower taxes, almost no crime, a booming Kentucky economy, and no amnesty for illegal aliens. You get that if you vote Republican. But just think of what we've accomplished in less than two years' time.

Donald Trump 00:51:26-00:51:57 (32 sec)

More than I thought. I don't wanna act like, I mean, more. I didn't think you could do it. If I would've said this during the campaign, you would've said, "This guy's crazy." We inherited the worst border in American history by far, and we turned it into the strongest and most secure border in the history of our country. And in the past, numbers just came out a couple of days ago, in the past 17 months, zero illegal aliens have been admitted into the United States through our southern.

Donald Trump 00:51:57-00:52:30 (33 sec)

Right? And last year in Morehead, Kentucky, an illegal alien criminal let in under Sleepy Joe Biden and the Democrats attempted to rape a woman then shoot her 15-year-old son. He died immediately. That illegal alien had been detained by police in Louisville two years prior and he should have been deported.

Donald Trump 00:52:30-00:52:55 (25 sec)

But he was allowed to stay and commit this heinous crime thanks to Louis- -- Louisville's horrible sanctuary city policy. We're gonna get rid of sanctuary cities, which release criminal illegal aliens into your streets. And if you vote for Andy Barr and the Republican Congress, we will end sanctuary cities in America once and for all.

Donald Trump 00:52:55-00:53:26 (31 sec)

A sanctuary city is a place that's made to protect criminals. And they don't even give ICE, and ICE are heroes and border patrol are heroes and our law enforcement is heroes. I mean, they have a murderer in New York, a murderer. ICE comes, "We'd like to have him." They let him escape purposely. This is happening all over the country.

Donald Trump 00:53:26-00:53:48 (22 sec)

They're cuckoo, they're sick. There's something wrong with them. Two years ago, our country was infested with thousands of members of the savage Venezuela gang, Tren de Aragua, who were killing and maiming innocent Americans a bloody rampage all across our country, especially in Colorado. Poor Colorado. They were just invaded.

Donald Trump 00:53:48-00:54:18 (29 sec)

They took over apartment houses. They lived there. Everybody was afraid to do anything about it. On day one, I invoked the Alien Enemies Act to smash and destroy Tren de Aragua, and I did. And we sent them to a giant prison in El Salvador where they never will be threatening Americans again. One man called the police because his apartment building was taken over, called the police and they grabbed him, slapped him around.

Donald Trump 00:54:18-00:54:52 (34 sec)

They said, "Did you call the police?" "Yes, I did. You're taking my apartment." They cut off his hand. They said, "You'll never make another call again." In less than two years, we achieved the largest drop in violent crime ever recorded. The murder rate, and that's despite having still some, we got most of them out, but we still have some to go, the murder rate is at the lowest level in 125 years since 1919. Think of it, the murder rate, despite the fact that we still have work to do, but we've done a hell of a job.

Donald Trump 00:54:52-00:55:11 (19 sec)

We've gotten the worst, the worst of the worst, we call them. Thanks to a Republican Congress, I signed a great Big Beautiful Bill delivering the largest tax cuts in American history. We gave you, and Andy covered this very nicely in his speech. I listened to him coming in on that beautiful Air Force One.

Donald Trump 00:55:11-00:55:33 (22 sec)

I'm coming in, I'm listening to Andy and he told you, "We gave you no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, no tax on Social Security for our great seniors." We did that. And one of the biggest things to protect your family ranches, farms and small businesses, we eliminated the unfair estate tax or the death tax.

Donald Trump 00:55:33-00:56:04 (31 sec)

We eliminated it. You know, uh, families were leaving their farms to their kids. The mother and father, they love their kids. The kids grew up on the farm, they wanna stay on the farm. And small business too, but I don't know, I always think about, I think about it more for farms. And they leave the farm to their children, and then the government comes along and assesses it for a lot of money and they have to go out and raise a lot of money.

Donald Trump 00:56:04-00:56:30 (26 sec)

They borrow the money from the bank. They're unable to pay the interest. The bank forecloses on the farm. And many times the kids commit suicide, you know that. It's a horrible thing. We got rid of the tax. It's no more, there is no more estate tax or death tax. And the Democrats wanna put it back on. So that alone is a reason to, right, Andy?

Donald Trump 00:56:30-00:57:03 (33 sec)

I also delivered another historic economic victory for the people of this commonwealth. I ended the Democrats' war on clean, beautiful coal. You know, we had, uh, we had these people closing up every coal mine. They were making it impossible for the mines to go and now we're doing record business. China's building now 54 massive coal-powered plants.

Donald Trump 00:57:03-00:57:20 (16 sec)

They make all the windmills, but they don't use them. Think of that. They make the windmills, but they don't use them. They have a couple of fake farms up, you know, they put them up and go look, there they are. [Laughs] Only stupid people or only country, every country that's using windmills gone bankrupt.

Donald Trump 00:57:20-00:57:44 (24 sec)

Terrible. Clean, beautiful coal. And I said to my people, Doug Burgum's fantastic. Chris Wright is fantastic. Energy people. They're great. Great people. Unbelievable. They love their country. But I said, "Coal needs a public relations hand. So from now on, we're not gonna call it coal. We're gonna call it clean, beautiful coal." So we go clean.

Donald Trump 00:57:44-00:58:03 (19 sec)

So Doug Burgum's up making his speech and he's making his beautiful speech and it's all about coal. And coal's mentioned about 60 times during the course of a couple of pages. And he took me literally, which he, I guess he was supposed to, clean, beautiful coal. Clean, beautiful coal. Clean, beautiful coal.

Donald Trump 00:58:03-00:58:23 (21 sec)

After about 30 times, I said, "Slow down. Just, you have the right to call it coal a little bit." But we're doing a public relations because, you know, that's the most powerful thing. It's powerful. That's why China's the, you know, you could go by China. Very smart. Uh, President Xi, I asked him about it, he says, you know, he didn't really know.

Donald Trump 00:58:23-00:59:10 (46 sec)

He said like, "Yeah, coal is great," he said. "It's most powerful. The easiest to get." We provided critical funding for eight Kentucky coal mines and three coal power plants to stay open. They were gonna close. They were gonna close. And under my most-favored-nation agreement on drug prices, which I think is the biggest thing to happen to the drug industry in many, many years, we went from paying the highest drug prices anywhere in the world to the lowest drug prices anywhere in the world with price differences of 300, 400, 500, 600, and in some cases, 700%. There's never been anything like that. And other presidents tried, they never got it done.

Donald Trump 00:59:10-00:59:44 (34 sec)

And it's all done. It's all done. I had to get other countries to go along. You think that was easy when I said to France and Germany, UK, "Fellas, uh, you're gonna have to triple your drug prices." By the way, it's still a fraction of what we were paying. But, uh, not easy, but we got it done. I said, "If you don't do it, we're gonna put about a 300% tariff on everything else coming in." And they said, "We would be honored to do this, sir." We abolished all discriminatory diversity, equity, and inclusion policies throughout the federal government.

Donald Trump 00:59:44-01:00:15 (32 sec)

We got critical race theory and transgender insanity. The transgender insanity. We got them out of our schools and out of our military. We made English the official language of the United States of America. And a very big one to me. You know, our country was built on merit. The top people do the job and just at all fault, but the top people.

Donald Trump 01:00:15-01:00:50 (34 sec)

We won, somewhat unexpectedly. I tell you, it took courage, for them. We won in the Supreme Court of the United States the right for merit. Our country is once again based on merit. Getting into college, getting into the military, getting a job anywhere. It's based on merit. Now you'll see the people with the best marks and the best boards and the best everything else, they'll go to the best colleges. It's simple.

Donald Trump 01:00:50-01:01:23 (33 sec)

Thanks to our Republican Congress, we delivered the largest ever investment in the United States Armed Forces, over $1 trillion. That was a record and all made in the USA. And just as I promised, I am ensuring that, and it's very big, this is the reason we went there, because they're nasty, Iran won't have, doesn't have, and never will have a nuclear weapon, very simple. Should have been done years ago.

Donald Trump 01:01:23-01:01:45 (22 sec)

Ed, that should have been done years ago. There's never been a presidency that's accomplished anywhere near what we did in the first two years. There's never been a presidency like this. I mean, add, add Greenland, add Venezuela, add the fact that Iran won't have a nuclear weapon, add the jobs pictures. Add every, I could stand up here all day.

Donald Trump 01:01:45-01:02:13 (27 sec)

There's never been, it's long short of two years. There's never been two years like this anywhere in the history of our country. And likewise, my first term was an incredible success having the greatest economy in history. But this economy, you're gonna see this very shortly, these factories and plants that are under construc- -- did you see the construction employment numbers? They're through the roof.

Donald Trump 01:02:13-01:02:39 (26 sec)

Everyone's trying to figure out, wow, what's going up? They're building the biggest factories in the world all over the country, and those plants are gonna be opening in a year. And when they open, you're gonna see numbers that nobody's ever seen before. You know, there was a, uh, I said it yesterday. There was a show, a good business show, and the anchor is asking a question of a, a certain pundit, a brilliant guy actually, a business pundit.

Donald Trump 01:02:39-01:03:05 (26 sec)

And he looked at the anchor and said, "Are you seeing what's happening in this country?" I mean that in a good way, because you could say that about Biden's too, but in, in a good way. He said to him, because they're talking about the stock market, where it's going, he said to the anchor, "Are you seeing what's going on in this country?" There's never been anything like it. We're building the biggest car plants, the most car plants was ever built.

Donald Trump 01:03:05-01:03:28 (23 sec)

We've built, we're leading China in SI, superintelligence. We're rebuilding our pharmaceutical, you know, we've made no drugs. We learned during COVID. We didn't make our drugs. They're all building a six, $600 billion worth of facilities. They're coming in from Europe. They're coming in from China. They're coming in from all over the world.

Donald Trump 01:03:28-01:03:59 (31 sec)

But now, the radical left Dumocrats wanna burn it all down. They wanna take it down. All of the things I talked about and many more. Every single Dumocrat in Congress voted against our record tax cuts. They voted against, think of it. Every single one, there wasn't one vote positive. They voted against no tax on tips, they voted against no tax on overtime, and they voted against no tax on Social Security for our great seniors. And they said that they will overturn that if they win.

Donald Trump 01:03:59-01:04:23 (24 sec)

That's a big deal. They voted against voter ID because they wanna cheat. They voted against proof of citizenship because they wanna cheat. So you walk in to vote, "Sir, may I please see your citizenship?" "How dare you ask me for my citizenship?" No, they, they have the citizenship and voter ID because they wanna cheat. That's the thing they're best at. They cheat like hell.

Donald Trump 01:04:23-01:04:48 (25 sec)

They voted against securing the border. They voted in favor of the worst inflation and the highest energy cost in American history. They voted in favor of the transgender mutilization of your children and in favor of men playing in women's sports. They won it. I saw it the other day. They had well-known Dumocrat congressman on a show in the morning fighting like hell.

Donald Trump 01:04:48-01:05:21 (33 sec)

This is a guy fighting like hell to have men have the right to play in women's sports. I said, "Man, it's not, it's a tough -- " Well, that's a tough debate if you're on his side. He looked like such a jerk, but he didn't stop and he wasn't convinced. I don't know, maybe they're convinced, but they feel they need it. I think it's about a 99/1. You know, somebody said, "Sir, that's an 80/20." That's not 80/20. I think it's 99/1. And it's so demeaning to women, men playing in women, you know, you have these women are great athletes.

Donald Trump 01:05:21-01:06:00 (39 sec)

It's ridiculous. And on election night, Kentucky is going to prove that America does not belong to those who hate it. America belongs to those who really, really love it. And in state after state, the Dumocrat Party has nominated the most extreme anti-American candidates in history, including dozens of members of the Dumocrat Socialists of America, or in other words, communists, jihadists. Jihad, you have a jihadist running in Michigan.

Donald Trump 01:06:00-01:06:34 (34 sec)

He's not like leaning left. He was so far left, there is no such thing as the word. This guy's a jihadist. Mohamed El-Sayed. He said, "My name is not Mohamed." I said, "I'm the president of the United States. I can call you whatever the hell I want." But actually, [Laughs] you know, but a friend of mine sent me his whole name. Actually, his middle name is Mohamed, which is so, so I'm pretty close.

Donald Trump 01:06:34-01:07:06 (32 sec)

He should have no complaint. Sure likes me very much. I think he said he wants to impeach me. They said, "Why, why do you want to impeach him?" "Um, huh, I don't know, but we're gonna impeach him." These people are sick and they're the weaponizers. They're the weaponizers, Andy. Their platforms call for abolishing the U.S. Senate, abolishing the Supreme Court so that they can take away your guns, so they can take, they want to abolish the Supreme Court.

Donald Trump 01:07:06-01:07:25 (19 sec)

They wanna at, at least abolish, but what they really want is to make it much larger because they want to take away your guns, they want to take away your Second Amendment. Giving free health care to illegals and defunding the police, closing all prisons. This one guy, he wants to close, close the prisons.

Donald Trump 01:07:25-01:07:45 (20 sec)

Have you ever seen some of these prisoners? I mean, you feel, you have two-inch bars like this, and you feel very unsafe and they're on the other side of the bar. They want to abolish all prisons. They want to release thousands of dangerous criminals to rob, rape and kill you. Other than that, I think their policy is quite wise.

Donald Trump 01:07:45-01:07:57 (12 sec)

Here in Kentucky, the Dumbocrat candidate for the Senate, Andy's opponent, has been officially endorsed by the local Lexington chapter of the communist DSA. [Audience boos]

Donald Trump 01:07:57-01:08:32 (35 sec)

Now, this is true. That's true, Andy, right? Is that actually true? Oh, boy. He should have turned it down, but he can't because he's a communist. His name is Charles Booker. Nobody respects him. He's a laughingstock and he opposes everything Kentucky. He opposes everything that you stand for. You stand for common sense, basically. When asked if he wants to defund the police, Charles Booker responded, "Now is the time to do it." Can you believe it? Oh, he said that, what, a year ago?

Donald Trump 01:08:32-01:08:50 (18 sec)

But one thing I learned in politics, when they say it, that's where they end up. They change for an election, but they end up going back. He tweeted, "My name is Charles Booker, and I fully support reparations," meaning he wants to confiscate your wealth and give it to other people for no reason. [Audience boos]

Donald Trump 01:08:50-01:09:10 (20 sec)

He called for abolishing ICE. He called for abolishing the Border Patrol. He marched with a group of radical climate activists who sit on the road to block traffic in an effort to shut down Kentucky coal mines. He wants to shut them down. Thousands and thousands of jobs, and you're booming now again, hard to believe.

Donald Trump 01:09:10-01:09:41 (31 sec)

He supports voting rights for felons and said our heroes of law enforcement and police were, quote, "born out of slave patrols." I don't even know what that means. They were born out of slave patrols. What the hell is that? He probably doesn't know. He just wants, no, he's a radical. How the hell can you lose to this guy? [Laughter] I'll tell you what, if you lose to him, you are unelectable. [Laughter] I had to say that.

Donald Trump 01:09:41-01:09:50 (10 sec)

I don't like to give you negative thoughts. This guy is bad. You know, I got a couple of bad, the Texas guy is bad. The, uh, Texas guy's bad. [Audience member calls out "Talafreako"]

Donald Trump 01:09:50-01:10:20 (29 sec)

Talafreako, yeah. Thank you. Talafreako's bad. No, El-Sayed, Mohamed El-Sayed is real bad. We got some bad candidates out there, but thank goodness. But Charles Booker is a communist lunatic and he will not let him, we're not gonna let him destroy our country and we're certainly not gonna let him destroy Kentucky. Your next senator, thank you.

Donald Trump 01:10:20-01:10:49 (29 sec)

Your next senator, Andy Barr, has been a warrior in Congress for many years, and I know it better than anybody because we fight side by side for so long. I hate to lose you in Congress, but I love to get you in the Senate. I love that. I love that. And we have a couple of candidates that are gonna do great. Last year, Andy introduced the Stop Chinese Fentanyl Act, which I proudly signed into law.

Donald Trump 01:10:49-01:11:13 (24 sec)

Since then, drug overdose deaths have fallen every single month and fentanyl overdoses in Kentucky are down almost 80% from the Biden era. So I, I just tell you with Andy, I've known him a long time. I endorsed him first run in Kentucky. I knew him. I knew he was gonna be good. He had a tough race and he won the race easily.

Donald Trump 01:11:13-01:11:32 (19 sec)

And, uh, I don't wanna say this is gonna be an easier one. I can't imagine this guy. This guy's got a terrible reputation that he's running against, but, uh, I'd like to have, uh, he's a friend of mine. He's been great. He's been a warrior, I will tell you. He's a warrior for what you want. And I'd like to ask Andy Barr to come up and say a few words.

Donald Trump 01:11:32-01:11:34 (2 sec)

Thank you. [Audience chants "Andy Barr"]

Donald Trump 01:11:34-01:11:37 (2 sec)

Thank you.

Andy Barr 01:11:37-01:12:25 (48 sec)

Thank you, Mr. President, for coming back to Kentucky. Kentucky loves President Donald Trump. And Mr. President, in addition to all of those announcements and those jobs you've brought to Kentucky at GE Appliances, at Ford, at the pharmaceutical investment in Winchester, don't forget the hundreds of millions of dollars that you have invested with our work with you to make sure Kentucky coal miners continue to power America.

Andy Barr 01:12:25-01:12:57 (32 sec)

And Secretary Lutnick was here in Kentucky where we continued to announce major investments in this state, and Secretary Chris Wright came to far western Kentucky just a few months ago to announce, listen to this, a $100 billion private investment in an energy hub because this president believes in American energy dominance.

Andy Barr 01:12:57-01:13:15 (19 sec)

And with your help, we are going to continue to work with this president to make America great again and stop socialism. God bless you, Mr. President.

Donald Trump 01:13:15-01:13:54 (39 sec)

Thank you, Andy. Thank you, Andy. He's a great guy. He's a good man. You also need to get out and vote for a tremendous leader, a tremendous man, Navy SEAL and hero, Ed Gallrein, who came to my office. I told you, he walked through the door of the Oval Office, I said, "There's our guy," because we had to defeat a terrible, terrible person, a Republican, a terrible person who always votes against you. You could give the greatest thing.

Donald Trump 01:13:54-01:14:17 (23 sec)

We're going to vote for a tax cut. We're going to vote for, and to give, the great, he will be a no. He will be a no. Massie, the worst. The worst. What happened to him, by the way? I haven't heard about him in the last few months. What the hell happened to that guy? What a loser he is. What a loser. He's the worst.

Donald Trump 01:14:17-01:14:26 (9 sec)

No, he's a terrible guy, terrible. Everything was always a no. Do we have, the most popular stuff. He voted against the great Big Beautiful Bill, I think. Right? [Audience responds affirmatively]

Donald Trump 01:14:26-01:15:08 (42 sec)

How the hell do you vote against that? It's, like, chock full of goodies for everybody, Republican goodies. But Ed came along and he had to find somebody to run against this jerk. And I've had this case before and sometimes they'll send me people. I'll say, "This is not the good situation." Because you know, I can be strong with the endorsements and helping and everything, but I need somebody that's got it. And I have had numerous occasions where I, you know, there's nobody as bad as Massie, but I have somebody that we didn't want. They'll, you know, go and work on it and they say, "Sir, we have a very nice candidate," and this person would walk in and he had no idea what the hell was happening.

Donald Trump 01:15:08-01:15:30 (22 sec)

But it was the opposite with Ed. He walked through that door, I said, "Man, look at that guy. He's perfect." And he was going, "I'm with you, sir. I've been in the military for 30 years. I'm a Navy SEAL and I don't like that Massie guy at all. He's disrespected our country." I said, "This guy is," and then he shook my hand.

Donald Trump 01:15:30-01:15:51 (22 sec)

He's got a hand like this. And he said, "I've been in there for 30 years and then I came back to my farm in Kentucky." How cool. I mean, is this central casting? I said, "You're going to win." I don't think I had to even endorse him. I just had to put him out there and he really did. He is a natural. So Ed is going to be an outstanding member of Congress.

Donald Trump 01:15:51-01:16:04 (13 sec)

He's a fantastic guy and unlike Massie, he will never be an obstruction to strong borders and low taxes and common sense. And Ed, would you please come up? You are really spectacular. Thank you.

Ed Gallrein 01:16:04-01:16:30 (25 sec)

Thank you, Mr. President. Thank you for those kind words. Thank you, Mr. President. Thank you for that applause. Again, I'll only accept it on behalf of those who I served with, many that didn't come back. Mr. President, it's a long way from a family dairy farm to this stage with you here today. One year ago today, he invited me to the Oval Office to speak with him.

Ed Gallrein 01:16:30-01:16:56 (27 sec)

And right you are, the incumbent had a problem for every solution to help you people out. Well, I'm going to take care of that. You just get me in the end zone on 3 November, all right? You help me on this no-fail mission. Mr. President, I want to thank you for what you've done to unleash the U.S. economy, to unleash energy, to restore law and order and to restore national defense and national security.

Ed Gallrein 01:16:56-01:17:02 (5 sec)

Our enemies fear us and our friends respect us. Thank you, Mr. President.

Donald Trump 01:17:02-01:17:43 (41 sec)

Now, is that guy central casting? I looked at him. I said, "We're going to win this race very easily." There's another man with us, and to be honest with you, this is the most important guy because, you vote and Andy's going to win by a lot. And Ed's going to win by a lot. But Ralph Alvarado is spectacular. He's in a tight race with a lunatic and I said, "I'd rather spend a little more time," because again these two guys are going to win by a lot.

Donald Trump 01:17:43-01:17:48 (5 sec)

I could run against them and I wouldn't be able to beat them. Maybe I would. [Audience responds affirmatively]

Donald Trump 01:17:48-01:18:21 (33 sec)

I don't know. They're pretty tough. But I, I said I wanted to vote a little special time because this man has been so good representing Kentucky's 6th Congressional District and I just want to say that he is, he is really a good guy and I think he's going to do very well. And he's, it's a district across the river in Ohio and, uh, they say it's a little bit of a close race, but we're doing really, really well over there.

Donald Trump 01:18:21-01:18:53 (32 sec)

So it's Ohio 1st Congressional District, Eric Conroy. And they say he's, they say he's, I don't know him. I got to be, I don't know him very well, but I know one thing. His references are phenomenal. And remember, Ohio, you have to get out and vote for Jon Husted. And we're also, we're also pleased to be joined by Kentucky GOP chair, Robert Benvenuti, and I watched his speech.

Donald Trump 01:18:53-01:19:23 (30 sec)

Uh, the auditor, Allison Ball, thank you. Kentucky Treasurer Mark Metcalf. Kentucky football legend, the No. 1 overall pick in the 1999 NFL draft. Tim Couch, I met, oh, you have a big arm. And congratulations to Kentucky on a great victory. Incredible. That was a big victory, huh, Tim? And everyone here today is part of the greatest movement in history.

Donald Trump 01:19:23-01:19:34 (11 sec)

And we have a, a congressman, a man that's, uh, running that we have to get in, right? Do you -- how important is that, Ed? Is that important, getting him in? We gotta get him in. Come on up.

Eric Conroy 01:19:34-01:19:35 (1 sec)

Mr. President.

Donald Trump 01:19:35-01:19:45 (10 sec)

Come on up here. Let's go. Come on up. No, right here. Come on up. Come on up.

Eric Conroy 01:19:45-01:20:14 (28 sec)

Well, thank you again, Mr. President, for visiting the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky area. And as I mentioned earlier, America is on the ballot this year. We need everyone to get out and vote in Ohio and in Kentucky to conserve and preserve our America First agenda. We now have a Democratic Party where 60% of people believe in socialism.

Eric Conroy 01:20:14-01:20:25 (11 sec)

Folks, this is not America. This is not us. It's time to put a stop to it. So get out and vote, take your friends, and let's get this thing done. Thank you.

Donald Trump 01:20:25-01:20:55 (31 sec)

Thank you. Good guy. A lot of great people. Everyone here today is part of the greatest movement in the history of our country. That's what it is. It's the greatest. This is MAGA, call it whatever you want. This is the greatest movement. And because it's United States of Amer- -- it's pro- -- it's gotta be the greatest movement, period. You know, I've watched over the years a politician goes and comes in second or third in a primary, and his career is made because he came in second or third.

Donald Trump 01:20:55-01:21:07 (11 sec)

Pat Buchanan was a great guy. He came in, I guess, second in a race and he had a great political career actually. But we won 39 states that first time, and we, nobody ever thought, nobody saw that bus coming, I can tell you. Nobody saw it coming. And as you can see here today, we are, I believe, stronger. And I can say that we've done nine, maybe 10 of these in the last few days, and everyone is incredible.

Donald Trump 01:21:07-01:21:16 (9 sec)

The spirit, nobody's ever seen anything like it. And, and I'm watching the news, I'm watching the political stuff, and they're saying over, this is over the last few days, Andy, they're saying something's happening. You know what's happening? These big monster rallies, everyone's watching them in Alaska, Texas.

Donald Trump 01:21:16-01:21:25 (9 sec)

Montana was unbelievable. In the middle of this beautiful, massive open plain, we had 25, 30,000 people show up. They're all watching. Ohio is watching. And this is the same thing that this spirit is so incredible. It's infectious. And what's happening is, you know, two weeks ago they were talking about the blue wave.

Donald Trump 01:21:25-01:21:35 (9 sec)

And in all fairness, we're at a disadvantage because for whatever reason, a sitting president, even if it's a good president, we haven't had too many great ones over a period of time. Thank you. [Audience member calls out, inaudibly]

Donald Trump 01:21:35-01:21:59 (25 sec)

Uh, thank you. I'm glad you said it. I didn't have, I was getting ready to say it, but it's much better. [Laughs] She said, "We have a great one now." I said, uh, "I'd rather have you say it." But, but, you know, we're at like, I don't know what it is. Out of 25 races, a sitting president, Republican or Democrat, has won two. It doesn't make sense.

Donald Trump 01:21:59-01:22:24 (25 sec)

So there's never been any president that's campaigned like this for the midterms, okay? There's never been. And we are putting it all out on the line. And if I don't make it, they're gonna go get me. They'll say, "He was terrible. He campaigned terribly." If I do make it, if we win, I will get absolutely no credit. They'll say the candidates were spectacular, but what the hell?

Donald Trump 01:22:24-01:22:44 (20 sec)

I have to do it anyway. But you know what I wanna do? Uh, CNN did a chart and a video that's, I think, amazing because, um, CNN is not particularly friendly to our cause. And they did a chart, two of them, that are so unbelievable and I thought I'd show them to you right now.

Note 01:22:44-01:22:44 ( sec)

[Begin video clip]

Unidentified 01:22:44-01:23:06 (22 sec)

[Video clip] Okay. MAGA GOP on Trump. In the 2024 election versus Kamala Harris, he got 99% of the MAGA GOP vote. Perhaps surprisingly, I might have thought it'd be 100%, but it was 99%. Compare that to his approval rating now with the MAGA GOP. It's 98%. That is, there's been no real decline in MAGA support.

Unidentified 01:23:06-01:23:24 (17 sec)

[Video clip] These folks say that they're gonna vote for congressional Republicans come the midterm elections. Again, that's the 99% that Trump got against Kamala Harris. Look now, in terms of the congressional vote, 98% of them say they're gonna be voting for House Republican candidates. So that support is actually really holding up strong.

[Video clip] It's really, really strong when it comes to MAGA GOP and the Republicans holding onto that vote. This one. Okay, the president Republicans most admire, it's Donald Trump. This is a historic comparison. A majority of Republicans say, 53% say he's the Republican president they most admire. Ronald Reagan, who traditionally has won that much, Donald Trump nearly triples up on this, Reagan at just 18%, and then Abraham Lincoln, who, by most historic accounts, is the greatest president of all time.

[Video clip] But Republicans say that the president that they most admire by, what is this, is this is six, seven times as many, Donald John Trump at 53%, easily crushing Abe Lincoln at 8%. And the Elon Poll showed that he was the greatest president as well, Donald Trump.

Donald Trump 01:24:10-01:24:54 (45 sec)

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you very much. Thank you. So in conclusion, if you elect a Republican House and a Republican Senate on November 3rd, you're getting $5,000. We will make all tax cuts permanent, Andy. We gotta make them permanent because they could change them. They wanna change them. They wanna take away no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, no tax on Social Security for our great seniors.

Donald Trump 01:24:54-01:25:26 (31 sec)

So we wanna make them permanent, Andy, and, uh, so they can't change 'em. They wanna take them away. I can't even believe it. We wanna make permanent the estate taxes. We wanna make it permanent. And we'll win the war on corruption and fraud led by our great vice president, JD Vance. And we will pass the "no invasion of our country" act prohibiting any future president from ever opening our borders to illegal immigrants again.

Donald Trump 01:25:26-01:25:55 (29 sec)

And we will pass a truly great health care plan that will stop all, think of this, stop all payments to the big insurance companies which own the Democrats. By the, big, the big insurance owns the puppets for the big insurance. And we will give the money directly to you, the people, so that you can buy your own much better health care and have lots of money left over.

Donald Trump 01:25:55-01:26:21 (26 sec)

They've stopped us from doing, they just voted in unison, they stop us. We will end no-cash bail and we will pass the death penalty for large-scale drug dealers, human traffickers, and anyone who kills a police officer or law enforcement officer of any kind. And we will pass the SAVE America Act to defend our sacred American elections.

Donald Trump 01:26:21-01:26:49 (28 sec)

And that'll include voter ID and proof of citizenship. And we will enshrine in permanent law no men in women's sports. You know, we've won, we've won 90%. We've actually won 90% and the Olympics will not have it. We said we're not gonna stand for it. So the Olympics will not have men, men beating up women in boxing in the various sports like last time. They've agreed to that.

Donald Trump 01:26:49-01:27:23 (34 sec)

And no transgender mutilization of your children. We're not allowing it. So ladies and gentlemen of Kentucky, the golden age of America is upon us, but you must get out and vote for Republicans and you gotta vote for Andy, Ed, you gotta vote for Alvarado. You gotta vote for all of these great people. We have already made unbelievable progress, progress like nobody has ever seen.

Donald Trump 01:27:23-01:27:45 (22 sec)

Nobody's ever seen anything like what's happening now. There's never been anything like it. And now we will reach new levels of greatness. We're going to do things that nobody thought were possible. We've already done that actually, but we're gonna hit levels of greatness that nobody's ever seen before. So it's my honor to be your president during this very exciting time in American history.

Donald Trump 01:27:45-01:28:21 (36 sec)

Because together we will make America powerful again, we will make America wealthy again, we will make America healthy again, we will make America strong again, we will make America proud again, we will make America safe again. But most importantly, we will make America great again. Thank you, Kentucky. God bless you.

Donald Trump 01:28:21-01:28:25 (4 sec)

God bless you all. Thank you.
