Welcome to Syracuse.
Nice to see you.
How are you?
Good. Thank you very much.
How's the trip up?
It was great.
Yeah.
Great place.
Let me tell you a little bit where, about where we are. We'll get right into the questions. About, uh, about a couple blocks from here, some of the poorest kids in America live in some difficult neighborhoods, a lot of children of color.
Yeah.
20 minutes up the road, they're building Micron. How do you make those two work? You build Micron, but you still help these kids, too.
Well, Micron, I know them very well. Great company. We're doing a couple of them. We have one in Idaho, and, uh, they have a couple of others here. It's an amazing company that's gonna produce a lot of jobs. Uh, they also, they do memory chips and, uh, have done a phenomenal job. So, uh, frankly, New York state is lucky to get -- we work very hard to help and get them.
And New York state is really lucky to have them. They're gonna provide tremendous jobs. A place like Syracuse, so good, great people, but this will give you jobs at a high level.
We've been doing a lot of coverage of the Cornell --
Yeah.
The sex abuse investigation. Do you have any words for the alleged victim or the students who are demonstrating who would like justice?
Well, I think the first thing you do is get rid of Letitia James. She's a crooked prosecutor. Uh, totally a corrupt prosecutor. In fact, with me, it was prosecutorial misconduct, it turns out. So, I don't know how she gets it. She probably just saw publicity or something, but, uh, she's no good. I would, I would imagine, uh, if she's not thrown off the case, nothing's gonna stand.
You're gonna have to go through double cases because she has not got the credibility to do the case.
Any message to the campus of what the students are hearing [Inaudible]?
Well, I, I know Cornell very well. I have so many friends that went to Cornell. It's a great school. And, uh, all I can say is God bless you all. That was a terrible thing. It's a terrible thing that, uh, happened and, you know, nobody knows. You can't judge anybody. Nobody knows exactly what did happen.
Uh, some very nasty things were said and some things that would be very exonerating were said. So, we're gonna have to see how it works out, but it's a sad situation for Cornell.
I was talking to one of your supporters waiting outside. They're here for you.
Yeah.
However, they're concerned about the war and paying too much at the pump. They'd like you to end the war. What do you think?
Well, today it was just announced that Russia's sending us literally millions of barrels of oil, that we're -- prices are coming down very rapidly of the oil. We've got the war under great control. We control the strait. Our Navy is unbelievable. Our military is unbelievable. Uh, their navy is gone now. Their -- Ir- -- Iran.
Their navy is gone. Their air force is gone. Their anti-aircraft is gone. Their radar is gone. Uh, their leaders are wiped out. You know, we knocked down two levels of their leaders. They have a whole different group. It's one of our problems. We don't really know who to deal with anymore, but that's okay.
Uh, and it's gonna end very soon. It'll end one way or the other very soon.
What do you mean by that, sir?
Uh, the war will end either through battle or through they'll sign what we want to have signed, uh, and Iran will never have a nuclear weapon. If we allowed them to have a nuclear weapon, you would see a level of potential death, turmoil, destruction like you've never seen before. And I stopped it. And other presidents should have stopped it long before I ca- -- I came into office.
Uh, they didn't wanna get involved. Uh, Obama used the power of the pen. He started paying them off and they don't accept that. He was, uh, paying to get them to stop and he gave them billions and billions of dollars. You remember $1.7 billion in green cash to get them to stop and all they did is use that money to develop a nuclear weapon.
We bombed them with the B-2 bombers a year ago and, uh, we've been bombing them ever since and they will never have a nuclear weapon. We've done a great job. It'll end very soon one way or the other.
You approved the execution of Maj. Hasan at Fort Hood.
I did.
Did you also approve of the livestreaming and the public nature of what they're planning?
Well, they wanna do that because they wanna set an example. Uh, I wasn't involved in that decision, but I understand the decision. He went and he killed 14 people. He badly, badly wounded, uh, 22 people, walked into a room, just started firing at everybody, screaming things that he shouldn't be screaming.
So, I guess they wanna have it serve as an example and I understand that very well.
Last question here. You tried to rename Lake Ontario. People here are a little reluctant to go with that, sir. What do you think?
Well, actually, it is called Lake America. It's actually been renamed [Inaudible].
Bruce Blakeman told me at the state fair that he though you were kidding.
Well, I know a lot of people did, but now they're finding out the name has actually been changed. It's nice to be president, uh, but it is Lake America. But I will say, we did it with the Gulf of Mexico and it's now the Gulf of America. I'm proud of our country, you know? Uh, we're about America. We're not about Ontario.
We're not about Canada. Canada's been ripping us off for many, many years, for decades. And, you know, I got them to stop and it's gonna be very interesting, but, uh, we win that one very easily. Canada has been really taking advantage of our country for many years, and we now have the money coming our way, and the jobs are coming our way too.
Thank you, sir.
Thank you very much.
Appreciate you taking the time.
Thank you.
Welcome to Syracuse.
Good luck.
Yeah, same to you.
