Remarks: Donald Trump Holds a Virtual Tele-Rally for Megan Degenfelder - August 6, 2026

Well, thank you very much, Megan, and hello to all of the patriots of the great state of Wyoming, where I had a great experience for a long time politically. I love the state, and we have every record that you have in the books by millions of votes, and that makes me happy. But there is a very important election happening in your state, and I'm asking you to get out and vote for a very special MAGA, really, we call a MAGA Megan, actually, but just a warrior.

And that's, uh, Megan Degenfelder. And she is really at a, a level of talent and a level, I think you're just gonna be very, very happy and very proud of your decision. You're gonna look back. She'll be your next governor. We hope she's gonna be your next governor. Early voting is happening right now, and it ends on Monday, August 17th. So you have just 11 days to go out and vote early, and you can also vote on election day.

A lot of people like doing it that way, but they have election day that's Tuesday, August 18th. But Megan is a, an American first warrior who's, she's got my complete and total endorsement. The only one, she's, uh, in a class by herself as state superintendent. As you know, she stood up for parents' rights and she fought for school choice. She kept men out of women's sports, removed the sexually explicit bill from your classrooms, did so many things.

She is, uh, really out there and she wants to do it, and she can do an even better job as governor. I encourage Megan, for those reasons, to run. And as your next governor, she'll be an absolute star. She, you will not be disappointed. She'll keep your taxes low. She'll defend your Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms so long as she's governor, you're not gonna have any problem with that, although it is a tough issue.

And as you know, every year it gets tougher and tougher. She'll ensure that your schools will teach your kids love and love to, we wanna love America. And that's exactly when you see all of these lunatics that are running. They don't love America. They don't, they don't know what they love, but it's not America.

But she's gonna teach your kids to love America and that Wyoming schools will listen to Wyoming parents, which is what about you want Wyoming values. And I guess I know because, as I said, I set your all-time voting record three times in Wyoming. So Megan stand, with the last time being the highest, by the way, which was also nice to know.

But Megan stands with our police and always will back the blue. She's very strong on law enforcement and strongly supports our heroes, heroes of ICE and border patrol. As you know, we have, uh, I inherited a border mess, an inflation mess, a, a mess in every way, but the border, we had it solved for the last 16 months.

Zero people, if you can believe this. It's hard to believe, but that's it. Done by, as they say, Democrat-inclined people. Zero people came into our country illegally through our southern border. We had 25 million come in under Biden, and they came in at levels of crime and everything else. 11,888 murderers came into our country.

They were drug dealers and everything else. We've gotten a lot of them out. We're getting the rest of them out. But she believes in a strong border and safe communities. With Megan as your next governor, Wyoming's ca- -- uh, your economy will just boom. Now, one of the reasons you like me is because I've allowed it to boom.

We have the whole country is booming right now. And Wyoming is a big beneficiary and we'll keep it that way. She supports clean, beautiful coal. She'll also unlock the liquid gold and natural gas under your feet. Wyoming will continue to grow into the American energy powerhouse that I've helped create. It's one of the reasons.

I mean, it's, uh, great, we took so many restrictions off. We let you go to work. As the daughter of a sixth generation farming family, she also fight for Wyoming's great farmers and ranchers. I got 95% of the farmers' votes and ranchers. I think the ranch is even higher than the farmers actually. And I give them support and really the support that you need.

She'll slash unnecessary regulations and cut property taxes, and Wyoming will be hotter than ever before. Our country is hotter than ever before. And a year ago, year and a half ago, when I took over, this country was dead. The king of Saudi Arabia said to me, and you've heard me say this, but he said to me two years ago, he said, "You know, President, a year ago, your country was dead, and now you have the hottest country anywhere in the world." And that's what we do. And Megan is gonna help us keep it that way.

So get out and vote. It's so important. And once again, you can vote early until Monday, August 17th, or you can go vote on election day, Tuesday, August 18th. But whatever you do, make sure you get out and vote and find your voting location. And I just wanna hand it back to Megan, but, uh, she will never let you down.

She's a very, very special person. So get out and vote for Megan Degenfelder, and you're gonna be happy. You're gonna say, "President Trump gave me a good idea." You'll look back in the years and you'll say that was a great, a great choice. It's gonna be very, very special. And Megan, you take it away.
