Mr. President, thank you very much --

Thank you.

-- for taking the time. This is your second trip to Ohio in nine days. It's a state you won three times. Were you expecting to be coming back here and campaigning as much as you are?

I did, really. It's a state that I won three times with record numbers, but I wanna make sure that Jon Husted is fantastic and Vivek win their races, and also the Congress people there. Terrific. So I felt I should do this. And I love the state. Again, I had the all-time highest vote ever. And, uh, but, and I don't know that I even needed to do it, but I like coming to Ohio.

I wanna ask you about the economy, sir. AAA's got the average price for a gallon of gas in Ohio about a dollar higher now than it was a year ago. The legislature passing that gas tax holiday. What's your message to the folks that are seeing those higher prices?

Well, what we do is we're going to, you know, we had the lowest price in many, many years. And then I said, "We have to, we have no choice." We knew this was going to happen. I thought it was gonna go much higher. Uh, we have to take the nuclear wea- -- weapon capability away from truly the world's worst country right now, they're saying, and that's Iran.

And we've defeated them. They will never have a nuclear weapon, and it's gonna be over with very shortly. And as soon as it's over with, oil is gonna drop like a rock. It's gonna go down to $1.85 a gallon. And that'll be very soon, maybe before, but it'll be certainly very shortly after the election. And we will have stopped them from having a nuclear weapon.

And on the Middle East, sir, eight months into this war, how should the American people be feeling? Are we winning this war?

Well, the wi- -- war is very much won militarily and, uh, the other side really doesn't know what to do. Their economy has crashed. As you probably heard, they have 300% inflation. Uh, they have no money. They're not paying their soldiers. They're not paying their police. They're not paying anybody. They're a disaster right now.

And the main thing is we obliterated their nuclear capability. They're never gonna have a nuclear weapon. We could not let them have a nuclear weapon. If we did, this world would've been a very dangerous place. And as soon as we finished the job, which would be very soon, uh, the oil prices will go down to what they were, which were essentially record lows.
