Hey guys, good afternoon. Well, looking forward to, uh, starting the technical talk. Soon to be here.
[Inaudible] sir.
Okay. Uh, looking forward to starting the technical talk with, uh, the Iranians and the Pakistanis and the Qataris. Our understanding is that the Iranians just landed. Qataris and Pakistanis and a bunch of our technical negotiators down on the ground. So look, uh, you know, we'll have a couple days of talking to this thing kicked off in the right way.
There's a lot to discuss, but we're gonna go through it all. Question: Sir, we're fighting in Lebanon to, uh, impede, uh, uh, threatens to upend the entire process. What are you [Inaudible] to do about that?
Well, uh, Marco and the entire team has been actively managing what's going on in Lebanon. Despite the headlines, things are actually getting better there. Things have calmed down a little bit. It's gonna be something we're gonna have to continuously manage, uh, to ensure that, you know, Israel and, and Lebanon are both safe secure.
That's fundamentally the goal is to make the whole region safe and secure. Uh, the big problem is that you have somebody will sue and then somebody will respond and you kinda have a [Inaudible] and neck problem where you've just gotta stop [Inaudible] long enough to get prior to [Inaudible] to hold. That's what we're gonna try to do. We'll keep on working at it, but things have gotten better.
Uh, sir, what, can you tell us more [Inaudible] about your schedule at [Inaudible]? What would make this a successful trip for you?
Well, I, I think number one, just getting things set up in the right way and getting the actual structure of the negotiation in place. So the way that we're gonna do this is that we're gonna have a principal-level political leadership at the top and then I'm expecting to stay on the ground. As much as I like, I'd like to stay and want to be in a beautiful place, I can only be there for a day or two.
Uh, I think we're gonna hopefully make progress on the nuclear issue, make progress on Lebanon ceasefire issue. Those are the two big takes that I think we're going to be focused on. I'm sure the Iranians are going to have [Inaudible] well. We'll see you guys on the other side. Thank you.
Mm.
