Hello, everybody. So we're going to Texas, campaigning for Ken Paxton, who is the best, according to just about everybody, the best attorney general in the history of the state of Texas. That's a big statement, but that's a true statement. And he's one of the best in the country. He deserves to win this race.
So we'll be doing two stops and they're big stops. And the crowds, I hear, are tremendous. And we look forward to it. We just had a consumer confidence report just came out. It's up at a record number, a record increase, 7.5 percent. Just came out, so that's a great -- that's a great number. You don't see that happen very often, not to that extent.
So I'll see you on the plane and we're going to have a great trip. The crowds are overwhelming. they've been out for three days and they're overwhelming. So they like somebody. I hope it's -- I hope it's Ken. But Ken Paxton deserves to be the next Senator. The other guy does not stand for Texas values, nothing, nothing, from get rid of the oil, get rid of the guns, and get rid of the beef.
Between the three things, it's ridiculous. Yeah.
Are you going to visit this tanker that's got Venezuela oil [Inaudible]
I believe we are. Yeah. We, uh, we took over Venezuela very successfully, and they've sent me, as a gift, a boatload of a million barrels of oil. And I'm giving that to the United States of America.
Rubio is going to be with you?
I think so, yes.
[Inaudible]
I believe. I believe. We're going to do, I think it's the third stop, they say. We're going to accept a million barrels of oil, and I'm going to give it to you people to use it the way you want. And we're going to have -- oil prices are going to be dropping very sharply very soon. Thank you.
Mr. President, if you do not prevail in this election, despite having worked as hard as you have, how do you intend to work with Democrats if they have control of the House or the Senate?
We'll figure a way. Look, I have strong veto. I hope that that won't be the case, but if it is, that's happened before with many presidents. And you have strong veto and you end up working out deals.
And you'll respect the results, whatever happens?
I will, if they're honest elections. Yeah. Thank you.
Mr. President, earlier this month you said you were worried about Texas. Are you still worried about the Senate race?
I think he's going to do very well. You never know. It's politics. But you never know, but I think he's doing very well.
[Inaudible] is holding an event tonight in Lubbock same time as you're going to be there tonight --
Well, he's going to get swamped because we have thousands and thousands of people. You know, they've been lined up for three days. The crowds, nobody's ever seen anything so this. This is like it was for the regular election. You know, a midterm, it's usually not that exciting. This has become very exciting.
And the crowds are incredible. Last night in Mississippi, we had 20,000 people waiting outside. They couldn't get in. The place was incredible. Thank you very much, everybody.
