Remarks: Donald Trump Holds a Virtual Tele-Rally for Julia Letlow - June 25, 2026

Well, Julia, thank you very much and it's great to be with you, and hello to Louisiana. It's a place that I've won every single time by a lot so I love it. I'd love it anyway, but I love it even more. But two days from now, you'll have an incredible opportunity and very important to be voting in a primary.

And it's a primary for a great person, really a great person. It's Saturday, June 27th. The polls are open at 7:00 AM and close at 8:00 PM so get out and vote for Julia. Uh, I know Julia very well. I've known her for a long time and I've seen her tested at the highest level. She was born and raised in Louisiana, loves Louisiana.

She's been a fearless champion for the people of your great state for the right, right from the beginning. I can tell you right, literally right from the, she had no interest in any place else except for the country itself. And, she's a mom of two beautiful children. And has never backed down at all from a fight.

Julia's my complete and total endorsement, as everybody knows. In the House of Representatives, she's highly respected. She's been a key vote in helping us to stop the invasion of our southern border by the, uh, I mean, just take a look at what's happened under the Biden administration. Right now, we have the safest border in US history, before we had the worst border probably in US history.

Maybe in any history. There's never been, 25 million people came across our border, and they were thugs. They were, uh, they were drug dealers. They were murderers, 11,888 murderers. Most of them we got out of here, or we have them in jails. But they, can you imagine, many of them murdered, more than 50% murdered more than one person.

But we're bringing law and order back to our country and back to Louisiana. Uh, your governor, your great governor, who I really like a lot, Jeff Landry. He called, and wanted help with respect to Mardi Gras and we gave him help. And you know, if you look at New Orleans and you see what the crime rates are, it's down about 70% from the time he called me a few months ago. "Send in, send in the troops, help us out.

We got a problem." And they had the most successful and the safest Mardi Gras they've had, I think in 72 years or so. So, Julia is a decisive vote on the largest tax cuts in American history, and she's gonna keep, uh, no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, and no tax on social security for our great seniors.

The Democrats, as you know, want to turn that around. They wanna have you pay tax on tips and overtime and social security. They're gonna turn it right around. But she's an incredible warrior for Louisiana's farmers and fishermen and military. As your next Senator, Julia will work tirelessly to grow our economy, cut taxes, slash regulations.

She'll defend your state's oil and gas workers like nobody else can do. She knows the business, and she understands it and she's just totally pro positive energy and unleash American energy dominance. And with her help, Louisiana will continue to be the power of the world. It really is. As you know, I got a lot of refineries approved.

I got the two big ones on the coast approved. They were in, uh, consideration for 14 years before I got there in my first term. I got one approved in one night, and I got the other approved, I didn't do quite as well, in one week. They were up in 14, one was 14 years and one was 15 years they couldn't get approved.

I got them approved immediately, and they're built, and tremendously successful and a lot of jobs. So Julia will vote to keep America's military the strongest on earth, and you see what we've done. Venezuela, a total, uh, complete success. It was a one day war. And, uh, we're getting along with great, but we're taking millions of barrels of oil out every week, millions and millions of barrels of oil.

And it's going, a lot of it's going to Louisiana to be refined, taken care of. And, uh, with Iran, as you know, they want to make a deal and we're close to making a deal, but we're not going to let Iran have a nuclear weapon. It's very simple. And they've agreed to that. Uh, there'll be no nuclear weapon.

And despite all of that, which was very important that we take that little detour, we today have the highest stock market in history and oil is down now at the same price, a similar price, but maybe even, I think it's going to go lower, but it's dropped. It's about $70 a barrel. It was just about that level when we started the war.

We had no choice. We could not let Iran have a nuclear weapon. And Julia, one thing very important that she feels so strong about, she will defend our great Second Amendment. Not easy to do. That's not easy to do, but I've been defending it for a long time and very successfully. We haven't given up anything, but it has not been an easy fight, and she'll help me. Perhaps most importantly, she'll support the Save America Act to protect our sacred American elections, and right now the elections are rigged like nobody's ever seen.

You see what's going on in California where they have an election and they want to give you a result two weeks later. And, uh, the results turn out to be, results turn out to be rather strange to put it mildly. All voters must show voter ID. All voters must provide proof of citizenship. And there will be no mail-in ballots except for illness, disability, military deployment, or travel.

And we'll also enshrine in the law that we will have no men in women's sports and no transgender surgery for our children. Can you imagine that, that you even have to say that? No. Think of that. No men, every time I look at that, every time I say it, I can't believe it. Could you imagine having to say that 15 years ago, no men in women's sports, and no transgender mutilization of our children?

Can you believe it? Once again, polls open on June 27th, that's Saturday. It's a big thing. So get out at 7:00, 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Get out and vote for Julia Letlow. She's fantastic.
