So, a lot of you are coming. I'm going to Ohio. We're going to be campaigning for a couple of very good people. Uh, Vivek, we know about. As you know, Senator Husted is running a race against Brown, who's horrible. They threw him out of the Senate once before. It's horrible. And -- and they should have success.
We have a tremendous crowd of people. I won Ohio three times. We got the highest vote in the history of the state, so I like it very much. I love the people of Ohio. And we're going to spend a little time, and I hope you enjoy it.
[Inaudible]
No, I love it. I think it's been a great -- I think it's the most productive two years, they say, anybody -- of anybody in the history of the presidency. I think it's the most consequential two years of anybody in the presidency. And I only base that on the record. If you look at the record, if you look at what we've done, I think it's the most consequential presidency so far, and we're gonna try and keep it that way.
[Inaudible] Have you come any closer to make your big decision on Iran?
Uh, we have a decision that I'll make about Iran. Iran's been decimated. So the only question is, it'll e- -- it'll either be the easy way or the hard way. We'll have it the easy way or the hard way.
[Inaudible]
Yeah, I inherited high costs for- -- from the Democrats -- or the Dumocrats, as I call them, because their policy is so bad. But we inherited a lot, and we've got the prices down. Oil is coming down. Oil is right now lower, and it's been lower than it was under the Biden administration. And they did nothing about the fact that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.
By the way, Iran, as you know, is virtually given up any plans of a nuclear weapon.
Why'd -- did you [Inaudible]
Uh, we want to get away from this ridiculous way and custom of, uh, every -- twice a year -- turning your clocks back, turning your clocks forward, being late for dinner, being late for very important meetings. It's ridiculous. And if you look at the public, they agree. That's a 100% issue. 65%. I'll give you an example.
Right now, we're sitting out here. It's light. It's nice. If you come down here in -- in another three weeks, it'll be dark. It'll be -- who wants it? We want our sunlight in the afternoon, but more importantly than that, we don't wanna change clocks twice a year. It's very expensive. It's, uh, it's got many problems.
Even crime, as crazy as it sounds, when you have light, you have -- you have much less crime. So the House voted it more than 80%. It's been sitting up there, and hopefully we can get Tom Cotton to move. Tom Cotton is holding it. He shouldn't be holding it. It's an issue that people want. Uh, it -- we had it a long time ago, but they used it for other purposes to get something else approved, and they gave it up. But people wanna have light in the evening.
But really what they want more than that, more than that by a lot, they don't wanna have to go around changing clocks. I had the same thing. Last time, six months ago, we're changing clocks, and nobody changed the clocks, and everybody's late. It takes people -- it, it's -- it discombobulates everybody. So we can finally have a vote.
We have the vote in the House. Mike Johnson did a great job. Now we'd like to have the vote in the Senate. Tom Cotton's holding it up. You know who wants it? The farmers want it. You know who wants it? Sports want it. Professional sports and amateurs that would like to play tennis at night, would like to play golf a little bit without having to run home after 14 holes.
It's ridiculous. It's very expensive to do. It's not a good thing. People don't wanna have to change their clocks twice a year. It's a lot of work for a lot of people. They're running around for two days changing all the clocks in their house. So it's an easy win. And I'm not even talking about for the Republican Senate -- for the Senate -- because it's a very bipartisan issue.
And Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas, a state that I won by 35 or 40 points -- I don't know, by a lot -- uh, he's gotta do it because it's -- it's really a -- it would be a very nice win for the United States Senate and for the people. Have a good time, everybody. Thanks.
