Please.
So thank you, Mr. President. It's a pleasure for me to receive you in Davos. Davos, without you, it's not truly Davos.
I agree.
[Inaudible] US is, uh, something special. Uh, Ray and I, we appreciate, uh, that you are coming. You know, the colleagues --
Yes.
I, uh, we win some time. I would like -- uh, I know personally, Mr. -- Secretary Bessent, Secretary Lutnick, Mr. Greer, we have a meeting tomorrow. And Mr. Rubio. And thank you for appointing in Switzerland as ambassador -- Ambassador Gingrich, she do a real -- very good job. And I think, uh, it's possible to boost our relationships the next year.
Mr. President, another time, thank you.
Well, thank you very much, Mr. President. And I will say, you do have a great ambassador. And, uh, she will -- you know, she keeps her husband very much in line. She doesn't play games, right [Inaudible] she keeps him in line. He's over here also. Uh, I want to thank my team for having worked out a -- a very fair deal with Switzerland and it's an honor.
I speak about you often. Uh, you're a great country, a beautiful country. You do make great watches too. That I can say. There's nobody like you for watches, which is a big deal, but I appreciate the treatment we've been given and, uh, we will always reciprocate. And thank you very much for having us.
Thank you. It's a pleasure. And with your team, we have, uh, good relation too, are working hard and finalize -- finalize the agreement. We have this joint agreement that I'm optimistic that, uh, we can go forward. And, uh, the investment pledge, uh, the private sector promise, I think, uh, on [Inaudible] and we already see this unbalance you mentioned during your speech is actually -- on correction, uh, it's actually we have the last statistical surplus Plus 8.8 US dollars in the favor of US. But at the end, what it's important for me and for the two countries, it's a win-win perspective.
And I think, uh, my team and, uh, your team, uh, are working hard to find something very, very [Inaudible]
Good. Is there really a surplus, because that's a very unusual thing with Switzerland?
I think in the last couple of months, it started to reverse the other way.
Wow. That's -- that's unusual.
And when they the -- and when they bring the --
[Inaudible] I'm very proud of that, actually.
But when they bring their pharmaceuticals to America, then that'll settle it.
Yep.
Yes, that's a very big thing. I think all pharmaceuticals are coming into America, so it's really a big thing. Uh, press, do you have any questions, please?
Uh, sir, are you going to meet Zelenskyy today or tomorrow?
Tomorrow.
I believe it's tomorrow.
Yeah. It's tomorrow? We just want to clarify that.
Yep.
OK.
Switzerland's a great place and we appreciate being here. Thank you all very much.
