Remarks: Donald Trump Holds a Virtual Tele-Rally for Darline Graham - August 10, 2026

Well, Darline, thank you very much, and hello to South Carolina, a very special place. And your state, as you know, has a really important place in my heart because we won it, uh, so convincingly every single time I've ever run both primaries and elections. Uh, primaries were incredible, and then we had elections and they were even more incredible.

But tomorrow, Tuesday, August 11th is a big day. It's, uh, a big, very, very important day. I'm w- -- I'm really gonna be very strong in this and ask you to get out and vote for Darline Graham, an incredible woman, United States Senator from South Carolina. The polls open at 7:00 AM and close at 7:00 PM. So go vote for Senator Darline Graham.

She's, uh, really great. She was the most, uh, I tell you, Lindsey was never more proud of anybody than Darline. So I just wanna tell you that she has my complete and total endorsement, has right from the beginning. She fully supports the Trump agenda and will help us achieve our mission to make America great again, which has been going along very nicely.

We have record stock markets, record everything. We have nobody coming in through our borders, I mean, literally nobody for 15 months. Our borders have been absolutely locked tight. It's hard to believe when I give you this number, but it was put out by Democrats. Zero people came in through our border during the last period of 15 months.

So while fighting for the people of South Carolina with absolute loyalty and resolve, she's also a very smart woman that loves, that loves your state. So we all miss the late great Senator Lindsey Graham. Why do we miss him? And he's just a very, he was just a good guy. He was very capable, but he was a good guy.

And we're thankful for his contribution to our country, to South Carolina. But out of all his achievements, he would say it all the time, the thing he was most proud of was his sister Darline, the way she turned out. And Darline is, she's tough. She looks so nice, but she's actually tough and strong and she's, uh, the perfect person to carry on Lindsey's legacy.

And frankly, what I wanna do, and we're, we're accomplishing things at a record pace like nobody's ever seen before. Darline has spent years serving South Carolina by transforming an important state agency into a national model, helping to build a stronger workforce and provide critical assistance to South Carolina families.

She's a pillar of her community and widely beloved all over the state. And in the wake of her brother's death, she stepped up and served your state with tremendous poise and distinction. And I must tell you, I asked Darline, I said, "Let's go for it, Darline. I know exactly where you come from. I know you, and I know Lindsey, and this is what he would've wanted." But I asked Darline.

Darline had no intention of doing it. And I said, "You've gotta do it. It's the best thing. You're the best person for it." And so she wasn't, she wasn't the one to jump in. I was the one to ask her to jump in. And she agreed. But with your vote, Darline will continue her outstanding service to your state by supporting our brave law enforcement, defending our cherished Second Amendment, and bringing a rock solid vote to strong and secure borders.

We have the strongest borders in the history of our country when I inherited this. This twice. I can tell you, in 2016, it was the same thing, but the borders were horrible. But this time, the borders were far worse than horrible. They were record setting. I think in the history of the world, anywhere, there were no borders like we had.

No Third World country would've allowed what happened to us to happen. So it's really amazing we turned it around. In 30 days, I had it good, and in 60 days it's been perfect. Darline will help us get the illegal alien gang members, drug dealers, child predators, and dangerous criminals out of our country.

She'll vote to root out fraud, grow our economy, keep men, of course, out of women's sports and protect our sacred elections by supporting the SAVE America Act, which we're gonna get done. Darline's already gotten off to a great start. Within a few weeks after being appointed by Governor Henry McMaster, she's already helped us advance Todd Blanche and got hi- -- got him to be, and he's fantastic, by the way, the next Attorney General.

We won that battle. And nothing's easy. And nothing's easy in life and in politics, but she was fantastic, a fantastic help. She had her first bill passed by the Senate, a historic sanctions bill that many have wanted for a long time. And for most senators, such a feat often takes years, but Darline got it done.

She's sort of a natural. So Darline is a true American patriot and a tremendous leader. She will not let the people of South Carolina down.
