Remarks: Donald Trump Holds a Virtual Tele-Rally for Louisiana GOP Candidates - November 2, 2026

Well, thank you, Mike. And I say this to everybody and I hope everybody's listening in Louisiana. I know there's hundreds of thousands listening, but Mike Johnson is going to go down as the greatest speaker of the House in history. There's nobody like this guy, and he's been working and he feels guilty because he's all over the country working to make our country great.

He says, I love Louisiana, I got to get back, I got to get back. And I said, Mike, don't worry about it they love you and we're going to do -- I said, I'm going to make my last call for you, and I said, add Julia to it. And I will be doing Sean Hannity if anybody wants to watch, on top of everything, but we're shutting it down tonight right after this call.

And it's an honor to have this be a very important one because he is phenomenal and the most -- actually, the most respected person I think there is in Washington, DC, and I just feel so strongly about him and so strongly about the state. You know, I won Louisiana all three times, getting the largest vote in the history of your state for president or otherwise.

And tomorrow is the most important midterm election, I think, in the history of our country. And the reason is very simple, because we've gotten so much. We've had so many victories, and they want to take it away. The communists, the jihadists, they all want to take it away and the way that won't happen is if you get out and vote.

And get out and think that I'm on the ballot because they say, pretend you're on the ballot because in breaking all these votes, 50 percent, almost 50 percent, 49.2, to be exact, more people, percent more people are going out and they're voting. I mean, they -- they just vote when I'm on the ballot. So if you could, pretend I'm on the ballot.

If we get them out, we're going to -- we're going to close out with a landslide. We're going to -- we're going to do things typically presidents, good or bad, Republican or Democrats don't do too well in the midterms, to put it mildly, and we're going to change that. And there's no reason. We've had the greatest two years of any president and I've been helped so much by the speaker of the House.

And you're very lucky to have him, the way I look at it. Everybody is lucky to have Mike. He's a very special man. So if you could, just get out and vote tomorrow. We're going to win in a landslide. Julia Letlow has been an incredible champion for the people of your state as a highly respected Congresswoman.

I was very proud to suggest her. I got to meet her. I suggested her. She was a fantastic Congresswoman. She's going to be a fantastic Senator, I have no doubt about it. And I had a lot of choices. A lot of people wanted it. I said, Julia's the one. But now she's running to be your Senator and I've seen her tested at the highest levels and at the most difficult levels.

And she's a winner. She knows how to win, which is what we want and we've made your state into a winner. So working together, Mike Johnson and Julia Letlow delivered the largest tax cuts in the history of our country, the largest spending cuts in history, the largest regulation cuts in history, all so important.

And the largest investment in border security. We have the safest border in the history of our country. As you know, 25 million people came in. It was like just a terrible, under sleepy Joe Biden. It was just -- it was an invasion of our country. And we came in and the last 17 months, it just came out, the final numbers, for 17 months, zero illegal aliens came into our country through the southern border.

I built 2,000 miles of wall, got a lot of help by Mike, I will tell you that. But we built 2,000 miles of wall and we have -- we went from the worst border in our history to the best border in our history in a matter of about 60 days. So they stopped the open border invasion. We ended the war on Louisiana Energy, passed the SAVE America Act four times and codified more than 100 of my executive orders.

And these executive -- the executive orders have been amazing. One of the things, no tax on tips, no tax on Social Security, no tax on overtime. The Democrats want to end all of that and if they got their claws onto a win tomorrow, it would be the beginning of a very sad period for our nation, because we have the hottest country anywhere in the world.

No matter where I go, every leader is saying -- they say two things, we thought you were dead. We thought your country was a dead country. We were laughed at all over the world, by the way. But every leader says we thought it was a dead country and now you have the hottest country in the world, and we do. It's a golden age for America, and you know that by all of the things being built in -- in your state.

So under speaker Mike Johnson and Julia Letlow, investment is pouring into Louisiana at numbers that Louisiana has never seen. And by the way, you have a very good governor in Jeff Landry. I have to be honest, I have to say, we didn't have him down. But I have to say, he has been a terrific governor, including $5.3 billion from Hyundai to make the American steel plant.

It's one of the biggest plants anywhere in the country, $18 billion from Venture Global to expand its facilities into North America's largest liquefied natural gas export facility, which you now have, and $100 billion from SpaceX, that's Elon, to build a new launch site. And I recommended it very strongly, I will tell you.

But Julia is running against a radical left Dumocrat. I call it Dumocrat because their policy is so bad, so dumb. And we exchange the E for a U, the Dumocrats, named Jim Davis. He's a loser who wants to destroy all of the tremendous success that Mike and Julia and others, so many others have, so many great people that they've engendered, that they've gotten -- Jamie Davis, they say, Jamie, wants to open your borders, flood your communities with illegal alien criminals, mutilate your children.

That's the transgender thing. And ban liquefied natural gas exports, which would kill Louisiana's income, raise your taxes by double and all of the other things. Davis is also promising to take away your private health insurance and he said that the very first bill he wants to pass is a massive tax hike. He wants to pass a massive tax hike, and it's crazy.

You know, all my life I've watched politicians, they always want to cut taxes. Even if they don't mean it, they want to cut. These people want to -- they talk about the largest tax hike in the history of our country. There's something wrong with them. And he wants to end no tax on tips, wants to end no tax on overtime, and wants to end no tax on Social Security for our great seniors, of which you have many -- you have many, many seniors in your state that are benefiting so greatly.

He wants to end it. He also wants to let illegal aliens vote and he said that we should kill ICE and smugglers and murderers and just get rid of -- if ICE -- if we don't have ICE, you're going to have the smugglers murders -- we had 11,888 murderers allowed into our country under Sleepy Joe Biden. Think of it, 11,888, half of which committed more than one murder.

Most of them are gone. We're getting rid of the rest. We're getting rid of the worst of the worst. So Jamie Davis is also an anti-gun radical who wants to do a national gun registry and wants to really terminate the Second Amendment. He has just given a very hard thing to get. He was given an F, F from the NRA National Rifle.

He was given an F. That means he wants to take your guns away and he wants to take your ammunition away. I don't see how Julia could possibly lose to this person. I have no idea who that person is. I don't imagine that Julia could lose to that person. So meanwhile, Julia and Mike Johnson have an A-rating, and that's an A, and so do I, by the way.

And I've fought very hard and Mike Johnson has helped me a lot in saving our Second Amendment because, believe me, it's under siege. And we have it, not only save it, we haven't made one change and they come at us. Every time there's an event, they come at us to end it, change it, do something. We haven't done anything.

You have your Second Amendment. It's in perfect shape. But not easy because it is indeed under siege. So we must have speaker of the House the best ever, Mike Johnson and we have to have Mike and we have to have Julia. She's going to be one of your great Senators. She'll turn out to be one of our best Senators, and we want to get her in the Senate.

And that's why I actually -- they didn't need this call, I insisted. I said -- and I did a lot of calls today, and I did a lot of rallies. I did, I think they said 30 rallies over 29 days, but I said, this is one we can't even take a little bit of a chance. They'll deliver for Louisiana like they've delivered for the USA.

So get out and vote for Julia Letlow and the speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, tomorrow. The bottom line is you have to go out tomorrow and you have to vote. And we like it that way.

I like it that way best, better than sending things. I like it when you get out and you vote. And again, I want to thank the people of Louisiana, because to win it three times by the highest vote in the history of your state is an honor. And the last time I got the most of all, and it's always better that way.

But, uh, we love you all, and we're going to take great care of you and if you could take care of Mike and Julia, that'd be great. It's -- they're great, great national assets. And, Mike, I'm going to hand it to you and take care of yourself and I look forward to speaking to you tomorrow to hopefully give you a very big congratulations. Thank you very much. Mike?
