Remarks: Donald Trump Holds a Virtual Tele-Rally for North Carolina Candidates - November 2, 2026

Well, Michael, thank you very much, and you've done a fantastic job right from the beginning. You were the head of the party and -- in North Carolina. We won it all three times in record votes. Nobody's ever done as well. And I said, if I get in for the third time, after the third, but if I get in, we're going to -- we're going to put you at the top.

And for everyone listening, I made Michael the head of the, uh, the party, and the Republican Party nationwide, the National Party, and along with Laura, my daughter-in-law, who comes from North Carolina, named -- named her daughter Carolina. So you can tell it's a little, good thing, and Laura has been so fantastic.

But they did a job that was unparalleled and we had a tremendous victory, a landslide victory. And I suggested to Michael, you must run in North Carolina, you must run, you're phenomenal, and so we have to get him in. He will do -- he'll be one of the top Senators immediately. He's just a fantastic man. So I got him into this and we got to get him elected.

And to do that, you have to get out and vote. So we're just one day away from the most important midterm election in, I think, the history of our country, because they want to take all the taxes, all the everything that we've done. We created $25 trillion in wealth, nothing like that just since I've been here in a short period of time, less -- less than two years, $25 trillion.

Nothing like that's ever happened for any country. So every North Carolina patriot needs to get out and vote and elect a truly wonderful person and a great man, Michael Whatley, to the US Senate. Reelect your great Representative, Greg Murphy, another one who I was with right from the beginning, and he's done us proud.

He's a warrior. And send Laurie Buckhout and Jennifer Balkcom to Congress. They're great people, and I see polls are looking very good for all of them, and looking good for Michael. I mean, we're against a governor that should not be allowed to even run with -- with his record. But I just want to let you know, all of the people, I've given complete and total endorsements to right from the beginning.

And I ask you to pretend that I'm on the ballot because, as you know, in North Carolina, so I won it all three times and the highest vote ever gotten in the state. Uh, and more people show up, so almost 50 percent, 49.2 percent more people show up when I'm on the ballot. So I'm just asking you to pretend I'm on the ballot.

But you don't have to really pretend because I actually am on the ballot because all this -- everything we've done, the no tax on tips, no tax on Social Security for our seniors, think of that. They want to terminate it, and no tax on overtime. Or if you look at all of the other great things we've done, they want to terminate it. Uh, no estate tax and your small farms or businesses that you leave to your kids, and they want to have them pay.

And bad things happen when -- when the interest payment isn't made, they go out, borrow money, the interest payment -- They literally, so many times -- they write books about it, they commit suicide. The children commit suicide. They don't have to worry about it because we got rid of the estate tax, or as we call it, the death tax.

In the Senate, Michael Whatley will fight harder for North Carolina than anyone has ever fought before. And like he did, frankly, during the terrible storm. You had the worst storm. You had a -- I call it a rain-icane because it was the heaviest water they think that they've ever seen. It was a hurricane, but it was like water.

And everybody knows what happened, and your governor was -- Governor Roy Cooper was missing in action. And it was only until I got there on January 20th that we got things straightened away. I got it straightened away. But he didn't do anything. He was -- and it was bad. I called Ellen to get the Starlinks, you know, the -- his -- his, uh, equipment because they had no communication whatsoever, and he was fantastic.

Elon Musk got -- got tremendous -- he serviced it. Because we had islands created where there was never an island. I mean, the water was so -- people couldn't get off the islands, and they had no communication. It was really terrible. The governor was a failure, but he did something that was unthinkable.

So in Massachusetts, uh, years ago, there was a governor named Michael Dukakis, who allowed a man who was a killer out of jail. And his name was Willie Horton, and he went out to rape and kill in a very short period of time, like moments. Three women immediately, three women, he raped him and he killed him.

And Michael Dukakis has -- had the nomination to be president from the Democrats. And an ad was done saying exactly what happened and Michael Dukakis took a 10 point lead and ended up immediately falling to a 15 point deficit as soon as they saw the ad. But you have worse, because you have a governor who allowed 88 people out of prison who were murderers, who went on to kill almost immediately, 25 people, innocent people.

Think of it, he allowed 88 people out, they killed 25. Now, that's worse than Willie Horton. Willie Horton was real bad but that's worse. And one of those people was the man that killed the young girl from behind, slashed her head, slashed her neck off, and -- from behind, hit her from behind. And that was one of the people that he let out.

And she was dead instantly. She looked up and died. Somebody struck her from behind with a knife, slashed her throat. Roy Cooper released that person. His name was Carlos Brown Jr. Can you believe, junior? Carlos Brown Jr., an animal was released by Roy Cooper. Now, when Governor Dukakis did it, his political career was over.

When Roy Cooper did it, I don't know, he's still leading in the polls. Michael has made a lot of headway, but people don't realize that Roy Cooper was a terrible governor. He was a radical left governor. The reason that he let these people out of jail was because he didn't want them to catch COVID. These are murderers, mostly young, by the way, and mostly people -- I just checked ages, mostly people that wouldn't have caught it or it wouldn't have had much of an impact on them, but he wanted them out.

But what people don't know is he actually let 4,500 people out, all high-level criminals, all because he didn't want them in jail, because he was afraid they might catch COVID. This is a radical left person. He wants to take your guns away. All of the things that they want to do in Washington, he'll do. Even if he didn't want to do them, he'll do them, 100 percent.

So Roy Cooper let 87 people, 87, uh, they raped 99 women and they committed 600 bloody felonies, very bloody but they didn't die. But 25 people died, were murdered with the people he let out, 4,500 people. 934 violent and dangerous -- very dangerous, highest level, and many of them are still out. Some of them were brought back in on new crimes that they committed.

This is the guy, he let 4,500 people out of prison. So Roy Cooper was responsible for the 99 rapes, the felonies all over the place. It was a crime spree. And you see it now in North Carolina, your new governor is not much better, by the way. But you see it now and you see it all over North Carolina. It's always mentioned with crime.

It was never mentioned, it was never like a crime place. But Carlos Brown was the one they have on tape and nobody can watch the whole tape. I don't suggest you do. They always show before the slit. But he was let out. He was a violent criminal. And people were telling the governor, don't let him out. They probably said that with others, don't let him out, sir, he's a killer, he's just an absolute animal.

And Roy Cooper should lose the election. It doesn't make sense. So, Michael Whatley, I can tell you, he's a star, he's great. He was -- I got to know him so well. But I said, he was so good in North Carolina with winning, that I put him at the head of the Republican Party, along with Laura. They had a great team.

I spoke to Laura today about Jason [ph]. She said, Michael Whatley is amazing, and he was. I mean, we won in a landslide. We won everything. We won 87 percent of the counties in America. We won -- we won the Electoral College in a landslide. We won the popular vote. We won all seven swing states, amazing.

It was an amazing election. It was a landslide election. In the third Congressional District, you need to vote for a friend of mine. I helped him get in and he's done -- he's done me proud, Greg Murphy. He's running against pro-crime radical Raymond Smith Jr. in the state House. And in the state House, he was one of the only two people to vote against increased penalties for criminals who assault police officers.

He didn't want that to happen, because he's a guy that wants to defund the police. He's ultimately a -- I call them defenders. These are the crazy people that want to defund the police, get rid of prisons and all of the other things they want to do. And by the way, if they want to do it, then they change for an election and then they go immediately back to it. But he's, uh, I just can't even imagine that Greg would have a problem here.

But he also personally authorized a bill to make it easier for savage criminals to erase [Inaudible] --

Folks, it seems as if, um, President Trump has lost connection momentarily, so we'll continue on with -- President Trump, you're back on.

OK. Well, I hope -- I hope I got it -- did I get everything about the governor in? Did I get everything about the governor in?

Yes, sir.

All right. Well, I'm -- I'm talking about -- I'm talking about Greg Murphy now. He's a fantastic guy and he's running against, uh, a, uh, pro-crime radical named Raymond Smith. And in the state House, Raymond Smith was, uh, just been a disaster. He's just a guy that he wants to defund the police, he wants to do everything bad, and he just got an F-rating from the NRA. Just got an F- rating from the NRA, which means that he's coming after your guns.

It means that basically, he's going to take your guns away. And I hope you can hear me, everybody. Uh, so vote for Greg Murphy. And next, America first Army veteran Lori Buckhout is outstanding. And she's really outstanding. And they all have A-ratings, top ratings with the NRA. So do I. And Lori's running against a radical left Dumocrat named Don Davis, and she should win.

Don Davis is one of the least respected people in Washington. He voted in favor of the largest tax hike in American history and in favor of deadly sanctuary cities, and he voted for the -- I mean, he votes in favor of transgender and the sexual mutilization of your children routinely and constantly pushes it. So vote for Lori Buckhout.

And finally, Jennifer Balkcom is running in the 11th Congressional District against Jamie Ager. And Jamie wants to raise your taxes by $5 trillion, which would be a 35 percent tax increase, which is crazy, punish your family farms with the death tax, the estate tax, wants to put the estate tax back on, we took it off.

And he wants to throw open -- she wants to throw open your borders to the drug dealers, murderers and everybody else who poured in just two years ago. They took in 25 million people through our borders. And what I did is I closed them, and we've now had 18 months of zero people coming in through our southern border.

So it's been a record, so it's been amazing. We've totally solved the border problem and they will start it again. So North Carolina, get out and vote for Michael Whatley. He's outstanding. For Greg Murphy, Laurie Buckhout, and Jennifer Balkcom. Uh, these are outstanding people. You're going to be so proud of them.

And the governor is a disaster. I mean, he's the governor, he was the governor, but he was a lousy governor. He was a radical left governor. People didn't know about it. And remember, everybody, he allowed 25 people to be instantly killed when he allowed all these prisoners out of -- out of jail. He allowed them -- no -- no other no other sane person would do it. He's a radical left person, and he shouldn't be allowed to serve in the US Senate.
