Mr. President --
Hey, sir.
We had a tremendous day in Texas. We had two big rallies. They were packed. Had people watching outside the screens. We put up the big screens and jumbotrons, or whatever they're called. But they were big, packed rallies, and people haven't really seen anything like it, and it's very exciting. I think we've made a big impact.
We'll see what happens on Tuesday, but I think we've made a big impact. It's very exciting what's going on. I'm gonna be going to Ohio. I'll be going to South Carolina. She's doing well. It's got a bowl, and she's up. And, uh, Darline, and, uh, in Ohio, they are up too. So we're doing very well. We're having a very big impact.
Sir, did you, did you approve of Flavio Bolsonaro coming from the United States? And what was that about?
Well, I would approve. I think they're fine people. The election was very strange, and I thought it was terrible. It's gotten bad reviews. You look at what happened to their market. Would I approve of it? Yeah, I would approve it. I would think it would be okay with me. I think it's so terrible to see it. I didn't take sides.
You know, I know them both. I know Lula. I know Flavio a little bit. I know the father very well. The father was treated really badly, I thought. Uh, but I wasn't involved. That's Brazil. It's a different country. I do get involved in some. I was involved in Colombia. I endorsed El Tigre, and he won. He was in 10th place, and he won.
And he's turning out to be a very strong, very good president. Uh, as you know, in Argentina. I endorsed in numerous countries. I endorsed, they always won. I didn't endorse in Brazil. I thought I'd stay out of that one, and I thought the, uh, end result, you know, it's by the end result, but the way they got to the end result was terrible.
Where is Flavio? Is he in Miami or --
I, I heard he was in Argentina. I don't know where he is. I mean, I heard he was in Argentina.
He flew to the United States, we think --
But I, I don't -- that I don't know. I heard he was in Argentina, but I would have certainly approved of him being welcomed.
Mr. President --
Mr. President, do you have any reaction to what we're seeing out of Israel right now with Prime Minister Netanyahu's coalition losing seats and unlikely that he would continue if he was --
Well, that's not what I heard.
What have you heard?
I heard, I heard the opposite. I actually heard that, uh, the poll numbers were wrong. They had exit polls, but I'm hearing that he did very well. It's, you know, it's pretty close, which went very well, 'cause I think when the endorsement went out, it, it helped him a lot. But I actually heard he did pretty well.
Might be winning or tie. The tie is sort of considered a win in that case, 'cause it's a big chess match. And, uh, but I, I heard he's doing pretty well.
Have you spoken to him?
It's a little bit early. No, I haven't. It's a little bit early yet, but, uh, I'm hearing that in Israel that he, I mean, the top people are saying, "Wow, he did a lot better than people thought." Sort of like maybe a stalemate or a win, but we'll find out pretty soon.
Uh, Mr. President, how is your meeting with Ambassador Kushner on Monday? And [Inaudible] when it comes to illegal immigration, sir?
Well, Ambassador Kushner, we're talking France. He's a great guy. He's a rich man. And he took over the French embassy. He had, he spends a lot of his time making it beautiful. It was in rough shape. Beautiful building. You know, it's been lived in for 100 years by various ambassadors that nobody knows, but I think he's somebody like me, I guess. He likes to fix things up. Uh, he's done an incredible job.
He's painstakingly brought it back to life. It's a beautiful, beautiful place, beautiful embassy, beautiful home. Uh, and we talked about France, and obviously it would be a predominant something. He showed me what he did. But then we talked about France. It's an immigration problem. I mean, it's not a school problem.
It's an immigration problem. It's a very sad thing to watch. I've been saying that to President Macron for a long time, who I like a lot, by the way. But I said, "You're gonna end up losing your country if you don't do something." But it's an immigration. You have people that hate France. They hate the buildings, hate the art, hate the -- they hate the people, and they're in there, and you have to get them out.
Something has to happen. And they better do something. I've been saying it for 10 years to the president. I've known him for a long time, and it's, uh, I think what's happened in France and other countries in Europe is very sad.
[Crosstalk]
Mr. President, you had Marco Rubio and Steve Witkoff on the plane today. Can you tell us what you discussed with the related to Iran or Russia?
Well, we talked about Iran, talked about Russia. And I think with Russia, we're making a lot of progress with Russia-Ukraine. There'll be a meeting set up very soon, and I think a lot of progress is being made.
A meeting with who, sir?
[Inaudible] With President Putin and President Zelenskyy. And I make a lot of progress this way. I think, uh, with Iran, we're in a very good position. It's a question: "When do I want to end it?" Simply a question: "When do I want to end it?" And, uh, they want, uh, they want to make a deal, but they want it to make a deal, but they like tapping it along.
Maybe they're waiting for the election or something, but that's not gonna help them. The election's not gonna help. But I, I think we've, uh, look, we've decimated their military. We've decimated their finances. They have no money. They have inflation the highest in the world, 301% a couple of days ago. But we'll see what happens.
Uh, we're in a good position regardless.
Are you planning a good surprise against Iran after the election?
I can't tell you that. I mean, I can't tell you that certainly, but anything's possible, but I can't.
Vice President Vance, uh, said recently that he expects no support if he runs for president. Would you endorse him?
Well, no, he hasn't even talked to me about that. And it's too early to think about it, but I can tell you, I like him a lot. He's a very capable guy. He's doing a good job. He's out there rallying also. And, uh, I do like him a lot. I like a lot of people. It's on the hand that Marco got tonight. Marco Rubio got a big hand.
And they like him. They like my people. We have a, a great group of people, very talented. It's a tremendous Cabinet, I think. Maybe the best ever.
When would you meet with Putin and Zelenskyy? When -- when are you thinking about it?
Well, it would be soon. It might be, you know --
November? December?
And I would say it would be a meeting. They'd like to have a meeting, so let's see. Probably make it. It could be done, not necessarily for a meeting otherwise soon, but, yeah, I would say it'll happen over the next [Inaudible] --
Would you have a meeting, sir, with President Putin that does not include Zelenskyy when you go to Asia?
Well, I would if it includes Ukraine. You know, Russia's a big country. Uh, we're meeting with, uh, scheduled already with President Xi of China. And we have a meeting on nuclear disarmament, which is a very great meeting, as far as I'm concerned. Maybe the single most important meeting. So we do have talk about the denuclearization of, uh, the various countries.
So certainly Russia would fit into it. We have the most nuclear weapons, Russia second, pretty close, pretty close behind. And China's much further behind, but they'll catch us within five years. And it all doesn't make sense. So we talk about that. We actually talk about it a lot.
And you say you'll have a meeting on nuclear disarmament with President Xi in --
It's one of the meetings that we would have, one of the topics. But the denuclearization, I mean, when you look at 17, 1,800 of these unbelievably deadly missiles, it's, uh, very dangerous stuff. Very, very dangerous.
Mr. President --
If something could be done in that regard, it would be great. It's not an easy thing to do because nobody wants to sort of just say, "Well" -- because you do have other countries having much lesser numbers, but they also have nuclear weapons. So it gets to be difficult. Thank you very much.
Thanks, sir.
Thank you, sir.
