Remarks: Donald Trump Holds a Virtual Tele-Rally for Barry Moore - May 18, 2026

Well, Barry, thank you very much and you have been my friend and you were the first person to endorse me in the whole country. I remember you endorsed me before I was even running. [Laughs] So that was pretty good. But I'd like to say a special hello to the incredible patriots of Alabama State that I won by record numbers.

We won by so much nobody knew what happened. I think, uh, they closed, they closed down the vote about, uh, two seconds after it was completed. But tomorrow, you'll have a very important primary election in your state and I'm asking you to get out and vote for Congressman Barry Moore, an incredible guy and the Republican primary to be your next US Senator.

He will not let you down. He, uh, he is a great friend of mine as Tommy Tuberville, who's so fantastic, who's, uh, running for governor. We're gonna be with him too. You know that he's great. But, uh, Barry is gonna do a fantastic job. He'll fight for you in the Senate like you have ever fought before. And the polls open tomorrow, Tuesday, May 19th at 7:00 AM in the morning and they close at 7:00 PM. So go to vote tomorrow.

It's really, uh, gonna be, you'll be very proud of that vote. Barry Moore has my complete and total endorsement. You all know that he has right from the beginning and he's a true America-first patriot who's been with me from the very beginning. And as I said, that's something that meant a lot to me. In fact, Barry was one of the first elected officials in the whole country.

You know, people said, "Oh, is Trump running? Is he not running?" [Laughs] Nobody knew he was out, he was out there fighting for Trump. And, uh, you know, you can never forget things like that. But importantly, Barry has dedicated his life to serving the people of Alabama. He loves Alabama. I love Alabama too.

That's why we won by the highest vote in the history of the state. Uh, nothing even close, nobody even close. Uh, before entering Congress, Barry was a successful businessman and a highly respected state legislator. He was a, uh, man of great distinction for his record of conservative accomplishments in the State House, the Center for Legislative Excellence named Barry is Alabama's most effective legislator.

And I have no doubt that he's going to bring those skills to the people of Alabama when he's representing them in the US Senate. As a loyal champion for Alabama and Congress, Barry has played a pivotal role in advancing our agenda. Barry voted to help us fully secure our southern border. And by the way, we have the most secure border in the history of our country.

And for the past year, zero illegal aliens have been admitted to our country. Zero. Uh, think of that. We had 25 million come in under Biden, uh, open, crazy open border policy where people came in from prisons, from mental institutions. There were drug dealers and murderers. We had 11,888 murders, 50% of whom killed more than one person and they allowed them into our country.

But Barry is, uh, just in a different league. I mean, you probably can't even imagine a thing like that happening. Barry voted yes on the largest ever investment in the United States military. He's a big person for the military and he delivered you the largest working class tax cuts in American history, including no tax on tips, no tax on overtime and no tax on social security for our great seniors.

That's a big deal. And thanks to his vote in the favor of tax cuts, the typical American family and, frankly, the typical Alabama family has thousands and thousands more dollars in their pocket each and every year. And now that the returns are in, the numbers really about double what they thought it would be. It's really something and I'm sure most of the people on the line said, "Wow, I got much more money back than I though even possible." So as your next senator, Barry will continue to fight tirelessly to grow our economy, promote Made in the USA, something that's so beautiful and champion American energy dominance, keep our border secure, stop migrant crime, ensure law and order, protect our veterans and safeguard our elections, and defend our always under siege Second Amendment.

He's gonna defend it. It is under siege like never before and I will defend it and Barry's gonna be right there with me defending it.
