Donald Trump Vlog: Burt Jones Endorsement for Governor - May 18, 2026

A great lieutenant governor and friend of mine, Burt Jones, is running for the governor of Georgia. And, you know, I won Georgia by a lot and the people of Georgia liked me and I love them. They're great. But this is a great gentleman.

He's a ex-football star. I wouldn't say he's quite as good as Herschel 'cause I love Herschel too, who is, but he was a really good captain of the Georgia team, a really good player.

And I just want to let you know he's, uh, he's gonna be a great governor. He's a fantastic person, always has been. He's solid as a rock. He loves Georgia, loves everything about Georgia, and so do I. And so I just wanna let you know that Burt Jones has my complete and total endorsement. Thank you.
