I am pleased to announce the nomination of Aaron Peterson to serve as Judge on the United States District Court for the District of Alaska. Before becoming Senior Assistant Attorney General in the Alaska Department of Law for Natural Resources, Aaron was a State Prosecutor in Anchorage for many years. He previously distinguished himself in the United States Air Force, before attending the University of Alaska in Anchorage, and then, Gonzaga University School of Law. Because he has fought to protect The Last Frontier's greatest assets, including its people, Aaron has proven he has the Wisdom and Courage to get the job done. I know that Aaron will strongly uphold our Constitution, and make the people of his incredible State proud. Congratulations Aaron!
