Remarks: Donald Trump Holds a Virtual Tele-Rally for New York GOP Candidates - October 31, 2026

Well, Bruce, thank you very much. We've been friends for a long time, and I am a proud New Yorker, but I'm very disappointed in what's happened over the last eight years in New York. When you look at eight years in particular, I mean, it started off with, uh, some bad governors and some very bad mayors, but it's been a long time.

When I left for Washington in 2016, it, it felt pretty good. We had a terrible mayor, actually, not a very good governor. But, uh, you know that Kathy Hochul is a, uh, she's a member of the Andrew Cuomo gang of people. And she's a, she's a disaster. She's been a disaster. And I can tell you that, uh, Bruce has been a friend of mine for a long time.

Anybody that can do what he did in politics and get, uh, resounding results. And not only that, he is the safest county in the United States of America. I just saw that. That's a great statistic. He took something that wasn't particularly good. But anybody can go in Nassau County, I know it well, and, uh, win in a surprise because, uh, people didn't think anybody could win other than the establishment over there, the so-called people that were winning for many years.

And he won in a surprise, and he's won in landslides ever since. And he's done one of the best jobs in the entire country. Bruce, he's a great, I don't like to say politician, 'cause I mean, he's a great political leader, but he's a great manager. When he's managed that county, it's clean, it's safe, and the job, the police love him.

Everybody he's given him is the endorsement. So I just wanna say a special hello to New York and happy Halloween. And we're just three days away from the most important midtown, midterm election. Think of it. We have a midterm election that, I think is never before has a midterm election been spoken of the way everyone's watching.

It feels like a general election, but it's, in a certain way, it's as important because we've done things that nobody's ever done. Our country's great. We, it's, we've made it great. It was a dead country. Our country was dead in the last administration, and it, it's now the hottest country. Every leader in the world is saying it's the hottest country anywhere in the world, which it is. We rebuilt our military my first term, and we, uh, had a tremendous success.

As you know, we won the war in one day with Venezuela. Millions and millions of gallons of oil is pouring into our country. And now we're winning very easily the war with Iran. They have no, they, they're talking to us, they're negotiating, but they do a lot of talking. And, uh, we'll see what happens. But one way or the other, the Navy's gone, their Air Force is gone, all blown up, all at the bottom of the sea.

And, uh, they're not gonna have a nuclear weapon. It's very simple, and they know that. They know that, and, uh, we can end it anytime we want. So I just wanna say, uh, very important is get out and vote. You have to get out and vote. You're voting for some incredible people that, uh, I'll be talking about in just a second.

But with your help, we're going to throw out your failed and incompetent New York government, the radical left, Governor Kathy Hochul. She's incompetent. The government is grossly incompetent. And it's hard to believe that she could even think about even being in an election against Bruce Blakeman. He's a, he's an extraordinary person.

Or I wouldn't be doing this on a Saturday afternoon. It's, uh, you know, it's just one of those things I feel I have to. And, uh, I have to tell you, he's also doing very well in, you know, in, uh, in the counts. We're looking at numbers coming in that are good, but more importantly, the, the, uh, polls are showing that this is something could absolutely happen.

People are sick and tired. If you get out and vote, and your next governor is, uh, gonna be, he's gonna do a great job. And Saritha Komatireddy as, uh, your attorney general, replacing one of the most corrupt people in the whole country. Forget about Attorney General, corrupt, period. She's a corrupt person.

And, uh, we've had things overturned with her. She's just terrible. Well, I mean, you don't get, you don't get worse. She campaigned on a, uh, just a theory of Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump. And then she said, no, no, I never even mentioned we have about 500 of, you have to see this woman. She's just terrible.

She's a corrupt person. And, uh, we're going to Anthony Constantino, a great friend of mine, and Kailee Buller to the U.S. House of Representatives. And you have to do one thing, you have to pretend that I'm on the ballot. So when I'm on the ballot, I get, we get almost 50% more people voting. We won all three times when I was on the ballot.

When I'm not on the ballot, people don't go out and vote. And if we go out and vote, 'cause ul- -- ultimately I am on the ballot. No tax on tips, no tax on Social Security for our great seniors, no tax on overtime. I mean, all these things will be terminated. The, the open border that they had that was so horrible and destructive, it'll be brought back.

We'll have an open border with, with millions of criminals pouring into our country and destroying our country. We got most of the bad ones there. 11,888 murderers, many of whom murdered more than one person, allowed to come into our country. They emptied their jails into our country. Drug dealers, everything.

It was horrible. The worst thing. And they also gave us the highest inflation in history, but that was nothing compared to the situation where we had 25 million people allowed to come into our country totally unchecked and unvetted. So we can change it all and we can, or we can lose it all. This could be the start of getting rid of all the great things we've done for the biggest tax cuts in history to the best economy.

We have the best economy in history. $22.2 trillion being invested in our country. And we've gotten, we've developed $25 trillion in growth in our country in just a short time. It's less, substantially less than two years. So tomorrow's the last day of early voting in New York. So go and vote. And, uh, I would say you just, at this point, you go vote on Election Day.

It's pretty late. So it's November 3rd. A lot of people like to do that. I like to do that when I can. And if you have an absentee ballot, make sure that, uh, you return it quickly or just actually it's so close, it's probably better if you go out on Election Day like a lot of Republicans like doing. We swamp them on Election Day and go out and vote.

As county executive Bruce turned Nassau County into one of the safest counties in America as governor, he'll do the same thing for New York State. And I'll be waiting for his call. Uh, I'll bet he's gonna be one of the first calls if he wins and he'll get tremendous help from the federal government. And it's hard to help people that do such a bad job.

It's almost like throwing good money after bad. Uh, they get in and, you know, they call and you say, "Well, they ask for money, billions and billions of dollars, and you know it's gonna be either fraudulently taken or wasted." It's terrible. Which is really what Kathy Hochul has turned into. It's a nightmare of filth and bloodshed and corruption and crime, while driving all of the jobs and businesses out of the state.

So Bruce will pass the largest middle class tax cuts in the history of the state. And as you know, I passed the largest tax cuts in the history of the country twice. I did them in 2016, I did them in 2024. And, uh, we're gonna cut your electricity bills in half. And again, after ala- -- after we, it's gonna be open very soon, all the gas, the gasoline.

And you know, I had gasoline prices. I was making a speech in Iowa. Great people. We won that one also three times record, record votes. But we were making a speech in Iowa, I was. And, uh, I looked at the gas pumps, the top, I, I look at them, uh, Biden and Obama and these people, they [Laughs] don't really look, but I do. And it was down to as low as $1.85 a gallon, 1.95 in one case, 1.85 in another in two different stations.

And I said, "Wow." And then I said, "But we have to go, and we have to stop this, uh, number one state sponsor of terror, Iran from having a nuclear weapon." You wanna see problems? That would be a problem. There'd be no talking to 'em. So, and I did that and we, we bombed the hell out of their nuclear areas where they were making it and it's gone, but we have to make sure it stays that way, but we can, we'll finish it off one way or the other very quickly and you'll see gasoline drop.

By the way, more oil is being taken now out of the Hormuz Strait than was coming. Our Navy is unbelievable. We put up a blockade. Nobody gets through the blockade unw- -- unless we let them. And it's been amazing. I think it's been really amazing. And Venezuela was amazing. It was a one-day war. We took over every, we took over the country, working very well with the officials now of the country and we're taking in millions and millions of barrels of oil going to Houston, going to Louisiana.

It's been rather remarkable to be honest with you. Kathy Hochul is considered maybe the worst governor in the history of New York State, and one of the worst in the nations, the worst we ever had. She raised your taxes by $8 billion in case you wanna think about it. That's thousands and thousands of dollars a family.

And the cost of electricity went up by more than 125%. She supports no-cash bail. That means when a murderer comes in, the judge just allows them, "Oh, please go out and enjoy yourself," and they go out and kill somebody else. She signed the law turning New York into a sanctuary state and gave billions and billions of dollars of money and everything else to illegal aliens, but gave nothing to our military, uh, veterans and warriors, nothing.

They sat in the streets while the illegal aliens sat in the hotel rooms above them. She supports transgender mutilization of children and men in women's sports. She wants to have men in women's sports, which is crazy. And a bill that would change the terms of mother and father to gestating and non-gestating parents.

Oh, that's good. That's good. No, she's, uh, she's gone crazy actually. And the state will die. It's gonna die if she's reelected. I know her. I know her well. You need to fire Kathy Hochul and her sidekick, uh, the wicked and corrupt and horrible, uh, Letitia James, a real loser. And she is a loser. And, uh, she's been, uh, nothing but, she's nothing but trouble.

Uh, she's a fake and she's a terrible person, very, not a legitimate person. Under Letitia James, crimes, crime rose by 40%. Homelessness rose by 38%. Drug deaths exploded to 63%. And Saritha Komatireddy will restore law and order. And Saritha, you've, you've made a great impression on people. People are just, just dying to have you win.

I mean, it'd be devastating if it doesn't happen. We have a corrupt, low-IQ person in that office, and it's a terrible thing for, I, I, I mean, she chases businesses out. Businesses are fleeing New York for lots of reasons, with filth, and dirt, and crime, but also they're fleeing because they don't wanna be sued by this animal of an attorney general, animal.

And they're leaving with hundreds of thousands of jobs. They're going to Florida. They're going to Texas. You also, and even the New York Stock Exchange, they now are opening up in Texas. [Laughs] I can't believe it. You also need to get out and vote for a great businessman, an American-first patriot. He's a fantastic guy.

He, he was a businessman up in Upstate New York and he put a Trump sign up. I said, "Who the hell is that guy that did that?" [Laughs] And it turns out to be, his name is Anthony Constantino from, and he's been great. It's, but, and we put up Anthony Constantino [Laughs] for Congress. He's amazing. He's an amazing guy, amazing businessman.

And he was a, um, a Trump fan long before it was perhaps even fashionable, a long time ago. And he's been incredible. He's running against an American-last Democrat named Blake Gendebien who called North Country workers awful. He said they're awful, the North Country workers. He bailed on illegal, illegal aliens.

He, uh, let 'em out of jail, wants them all out. And he received something that's hard to receive. He got an F rating from the NRA. F ratings are hard to get. F rating means you want the guns. You want to terminate our Second Amendment. An F rating, rarely do you see an F rating, but, uh, this guy, Anthony's, uh, person that he's, opponent, uh, is getting, uh, so his name is Gendebien.

He's got an F rating from the NRA. That, that's actually hard to get because you have to be down and dirty, no guns in your hands, no guns to protect you from criminals. So they're weak on crime, so criminals can come out all over the state, but you can't protect yourself. [Laughs] They're taking your guns away.

Figure that one out. You also need to vote to elect Kailee Buller from, to Congress. She's fantastic and, and, uh, really gonna be something very special. Central New York, she's running against a total nobody congressman named John Mannion, who's not respected at all, who voted for the largest tax increase in history, who voted against all of the, uh, tax cuts that we had, no tax on tips, no tax on, on anything.

I mean, no tax on Social Security for our seniors, no tax on overtime, voted against everything, supports the Green New Scam, raising your electricity prices by over 100%. That's another thing, by the way, that your governor did. I mean, she won't approve a pipeline that'll go up to upstate New York and cut your electricity rates in half, more than half, just won't allow it. It's way underground.

It's a pipeline way underground. Nobody will ever see it. It's [Laughs] just the craziest thing I've ever seen because she's afraid of the environmental lunatics that, uh, they do nothing but, uh, cause problems actually. I'm a big environmentalist, but I'm an environmentalist that gets, that gets things done.

But she won't approve, and therefore you have the highest rates in the nation. And, uh, she supported the Biden open border invasion of our country. So he had a big one coming up. They say it's a hard one, and maybe it is, maybe it's not. But I remember not so long ago where Bruce Blakeman won in Nassau County.

I said, "I endorsed him. I was with him all the way. He's got a brother who's fantastic, who I also know." And I said, "Well, Bruce is great, but Nassau County's tough, and [Laughs] he won. He won, and he then turned it around into the safest, cleanest community." I mean, it's literally, I, I see it's number one safest area in the country.

Uh, community, I guess they call it a county. And the county is the s- -- number one safest county in the United States. That's amazing actually, because it wasn't anywhere near that. And you have to go and vote for Bruce Blakeman and Saritha Komatireddy and Anthony Constantino and Kailee Buller. And they've got my complete and total endorsement at the highest level, every one of them.

They're gonna be unbelievable. And, uh, I really recommend go out. Maybe you vote early, or maybe you just vote on November 3rd, as long as you vote. Uh, make sure your vote counts because you gotta watch it a little bit. They have a lot of bad things happen. That's why I sort of like going and voting on Election Day, but they probably play with that too.

But there's nothing, I know that, uh, Bruce is watching it very closely. Everybody's watching it very closely. It's much harder for them to cheat than it was in 2020 where they rigged an election. And you see so many other rigged elections. Look what happened in Los Angeles recently, and you see so much of it happening.

Look at what's going on in Alaska with, uh, Dan Sullivan. You have Dan Sullivan against Dan Sullivan. Oh, they didn't know the names were [Laughs] the same. And I hear all of you are doing the same, but I've been following, because he's a friend of mine for years, uh, I've been following him. And I told people, "If he gets the nomination, he's gonna be tough because he's a great politician. But more importantly, he's a great manager. And he's got total police support, he's got fire support, he's got everybody who's supporting him.

And if you have him, you're gonna have the hottest state, just like our country's become the hottest country." Every leader in the world is saying now that the USA is the hottest country anywhere in the world. And it was a dead country two years ago. They say it. It was, uh, the king of Saudi Arabia. He said, "United States just last administration was a dead country.

They never thought it was gonna come back, and now it's the hottest country anywhere in the world." You're gonna be saying that if he wins, you're gonna be saying that about New York State. So I just wanna thank all of you guys for running. There's nothing easy about it. Takes courage. And I'll turn it over if you mind.
