I came as Donald Trump. I came as Donald Trump. I didn't have time to get -- people spent a lot of time and money, rich people, you know, spent nine hours getting ready. I had 10 minutes. So I came as Donald Trump tonight. Hello, everybody.
We love you, President Trump. We love you, Mr. President.
Mr. President, what do you know about the FBI [Inaudible] time with North Korea and Binance?
Well, we're learning about it. Yep.
How concerned are you?
Well, I, I'm not concerned. We're learning about it. Uh, we don't know if it's North Korea, but if it is, we'll talk to North Korea about it.
How are you feeling about Tuesday, Mr. President? Are you gonna go out?
I feel good. We did, uh, I did many, uh, teleconference, you know, the tele-town halls today. Uh, we have, I leave early tomorrow for Iowa. I leave early tomorrow for Kansas. And, uh, then on, uh, Monday we're doing a lot of different events for, to see if we can get it over. And I feel very good. I mean, I feel like we're doing well.
The country has never done better. We have, we've made $25 trillion in, well, over the last, since I'm president for the last 19 months, I guess, 25 trillion. We've never done anything, and 22.2 trillion is being invested in our country. So I feel really good about things. And I think people are starting to find out.
You know, we've got Iran, we'll never have a nuclear weapon. They wanna make a deal. We'll find out about that.
How are the negotiations going?
They're going fine, but you know, I, they're not very reliable, I will tell you. They make a deal and then they back out. They wanna make a deal. We'll see if they make a deal.
President Trump, do you have any view on the fissure in the Democratic Party between Abdul El-Sayed and Haley Stevens?
Well, they're really fighting. Uh, they're, nobody wants Abdul and, uh, Stevens is in there fighting. She's, you gotta give her credit. She tried to do it, but she can't. You can't live with him. He said jihadist. You can't live with him. She tried, you know, she's a Democrat, a good, solid pretty Democrat, I think.
And I'd say reasonably solid. Uh, she was supposed to get wiped out and she almost won. He wanted to get her support. He got her support. They spent a day together and she realized he's a, he's an absolute jihadist, jihadist. Look, he is a person that hates Black people, hates Jewish people, and I think probably hates all people.
And he's not, in my opinion, if he went to Michigan, if he won, that'd be a, a devastating blow for our country. Our country's never done better. He's a jihadist and he's a guy that, uh, frankly should not be in the Senate.
It's also been reported that Dan J. Sullivan's whereabouts are unknown. Are you concerned that he's --
He's missing. No, well, he, you know, it's a fraud. And, uh, Daniel J. Sullivan tried to change his middle initial to Daniel S. Sullivan, as you know. And it's a fraud. It's, it's voter fraud at the highest level, and he left the world. I mean, nobody can find him now. So he knows he's guilty. He knows he's guilty.
It's a, it's a fraud on the people. And it's, when you look at that ballot, nobody, I don't care, nobody knows what they're doing. That is a total, it's a Democrat con job, and it was done by Schumer. I mean, that really started with Schumer and Elias, the lawyer, Elias, Marc Elias. And I think they should be held criminally responsible for it.
Sir, uh, the Russians say that they were warned by the U.S. about a potential terrorist attack. Did we give them intelligence? And who are the suspected terrorists?
They're gonna be, uh, reporting to me tomorrow. I get a report on that tomorrow morning.
Mr. President --
We'll let you know.
D.C. and Virginia are suing to stop your arch, saying that it violates --
Say it again.
D.C. and Virginia are suing to stop your arch, saying that it violates --
They've sued me on everything. They've lost every lawsuit. Uh, the arch is very important militarily for Washington, D.C., and our country. It's also gonna be the most beautiful arch ever built. So you have 59 cities that have arcs. We're the only one that doesn't have it, and we're the capital of America, capital of the United States.
And the arch is gonna be more beautiful than the Arc de Triomphe. In my opinion, the most beautiful of them all is the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. This will be far more beautiful and it'd be slightly larger, not a lot larger, but slightly larger. Uh, it will be one of Washington's most beautiful things. Uh, it's also very important militarily, maybe more importantly, but I don't think so. But it is very important militarily, and I think we're doing very well.
They take a vote next week to vote on it. And it's something the region, whether it's Virginia, Maryland, or Washington, it doesn't matter. It's something the region needs militarily and I think aesthetically also. It was supposed to be built in the circle years ago, hundreds. I mean, it was like 150 years ago they expected to build.
It got interfered with by a little thing called the Civil War. It got interfered with by a Great Depression. It got interfered every time they were about to build something. So we're gonna see if we can get it built. The arch was supposed to be there or something similar for many, many years. That circle's been there for many, many years.
Is there a timeframe for the Qatari-negotiated, uh, mediated negotiations?
Look, we're not in that much of a hurry from the standpoint that we've knocked out their navy, we've knocked out their air force, we've knocked out their anti-aircraft, we've knocked out almost every piece of military equipment they have. We've knocked out a lot of their manufacturing capabilities. Uh, we've knocked out the nuclear.
We've knocked out their nuclear. We still have to take care of, uh, I would say one or two sites. But we can do that in, in 10 minutes. 10 minutes. So we have that, we have that plan.
Mr. President --
And the supreme leader said today --
You probably can look at Pickaxe Mountain, you have to take care of that. We can do that all very quickly.
Mr. President, what did you --
Who you with?
The New York Times. What did you make of Alina Habba's 50, more than 50 --
I thought it was terrible. I told her and I said, "I don't want her paid." I thought I, we had somebody speak to the people that did it and she used her relationship to do that and it was far too much. You know, it's one thing for a person to get paid legal fees or whatever. She's a lawyer. I thought it was totally obnoxious and outrageous and, uh, it's not acceptable.
Not acceptable at all.
Did you expect her to make a donation to the library?
No, not her. I expect maybe the big, I don't know if anybody wants to make it, but, uh, it's unacceptable what she did. Unacceptable.
Have you spoken to, uh, have you spoken to the leader of El Salvador about Haiti? Have you spoken to Bukele about Haiti? Uh, El Salvador's president, he said he was --
I did, I did speak to him. He said that he has a big problem with Haiti. I said, "Look, you're running your country. You have to do what you have to do." He had a big problem with Haiti. They killed some of his people. And I said, "You're running your country, you have to do what you have to do."
Would you consider, uh, is the U.S. considering helping in any capacity?
He, he doesn't need help. He's in pretty good shape.
And are you continuing to speak with Netanyahu today?
Ya- -- y- -- you got a report that there was concerns about Jensen Huang and Nvidia and Chinese intelligence operation?
Yeah. Well, I have a lot of respect for Jensen. I didn't know about the, uh, specific thing, but I hope he's gonna be okay. He's a great, brilliant person and we wanna protect our brilliant people. Uh, when it comes to chips, there's never been anybody like him. So we hope that everything's okay with Jensen.
I have a lot of respect for him. I like him. Uh, we hope everything's okay. We'll check it out. We're gonna check it out very closely.
-- remains one of your advisors on science and tech- -- technology.
[Inaudible]
Will Jensen remain one of your advisors on science and technology?
Well, I have a lot of advisors. I have a group of advisors. They all meet together. I would like to say yes. I mean, unless we find out something's in the contrary. I've always found Jensen Huang to be very above board. But you know, you're dealing in a very complex issue.
President Trump, um, Angie Nixon says that we're on stolen land here in Florida. Do you have any response to that?
Angie Nixon's a low IQ person. And she shouldn't be running. I mean, she's not, she's not of the intellect that should be running for the Senate. She's a very low IQ person. Yeah, go ahead.
Ukraine, sir.
We love you President Trump. God bless you.
Look at my rich members. Look at all my rich members. They spent all day getting ready and look at these guys. These are the big, quiet for a second. These are the biggest guys on Wall Street and they spent all day long getting ready. I only had 10 minutes. I just put on a red tie.
Do you expect to go back to war against Iran as soon as this week? You said --
Go back where?
Go back to war with Iran, you said not until after this --
Why would you ask such a stupid question? New York Times. Okay, let's say I did. Would I tell you? I mean, you asked, "Do you expect to go --" He asked me, "Do I expect to go back to war next week?" Let's say I did. Would I tell you? Let's say I didn't. Would I tell you? I would, I can't tell you anything.
Sir --
Ukraine is --
It's not a question for The New York Times. Now there's a good photographer, the New, New York --
Zelensa- -- Zelenskyy has, uh, hit a couple of big Russian refineries in the last one or two days.
Mm-hmm.
Are you gonna talk to him about that? What's your take on that?
We talked to him. I think that the war between Ukraine and Russia is going to come to an end in the not too distant future.
Sir, will you invite Zelenskyy to the G20? You've invited Putin.
I would. I would. No problem.
Do you have any plans to meet with Flavio Bolsonaro while you're in Florida?
No plans to meet, but I think he got treated very shabbily. Very shabbily. So he can stay here as long as he wants.
Have you spoken with him?
Bolsonaro. He can stay here as long as he wants. He got treated very, in, in my opinion, uh, the election was a disgrace. He got treated very shabbily and he could stay here as long as he wants.
Are you gonna --
Can we get now Halloween? I'll have about 15 minutes of Halloween and then I go back to work. I made a lot of calls today and tomorrow I'm gonna take a trip. Are you going?
Oh yeah.
Tomorrow we're leaving early, relatively early. We're going to Iowa first and Kansas second. And, uh, I think we're, I think we're gonna do very well. I think we're gonna surprise a lot of people.
Do you like the early returns?
You know why? Because of the rallies. Those rallies are hot. We have had rallies with tens of thousands of people and they are hot and they've been broadcast all over. They're long beyond the area that they're in. Thank you all. Have a good Halloween everybody.
Thank you, Mr. President.
You have a very fine newspaper. Have a good time, everybody.
Thank you, President Trump. Thank you, President Trump.
Have a good time. Have a good time.
Thank you, Mr. President.
Happy Halloween.
